Refunded my entire order with no explanation or compensation

I want to start off to say I actually really like hourglass I love the palettes they do every year I love the blushes and scattered light eyeshadow I wanted to get my hands on the new 2023 holiday palettes in particular palette 2 leopard and palette 3 snake the issue is I don t like snakes I hate snakes So decided to purchase the palettes from their own website so I can customize the cover I ordered palette 2 as an owl and palette 3 as a leopard I used the black friday code and got 20 off so I was naturally very excited Within 2 days they refunded me the leopard palette as it was probably out of stock It was annoying but these things happen Then few days later they refunded me the owl Palette I mean WHY WHY would you have items on the website and allow people to purchase them if you didn t have any stock I got no apologies no future discount nothing TERRIBLE service and now I have no palettes I no longer trust ordering from their website and will purchase from other retailers For a luxury brand that chargrs luxury prices you would expect the customer service to be better Im so shocked and may boycott them in the future Shame on you hourglass you should treat your customers better

Waste of money

I purchased an hourglass foundation on a weekend away as I left mine at home Buyer beware I purchased from an Hourglass stand within Selfridges In store under artificial light the beautician came up with my colour BEIGE In daylight I look somewhere between jaundiced and tangoed not a great look Having returned home I contacted Hourglass customer services and they cannot help as I did not buy from them Wait a minute it was an hourglass stand within a store it was your product and the beautician was wearing an Hourglass uniform Still no offer of help except return to store that it was purchased from unfortunately that store is 200 miles away so I am stuck with a product that is totally useless Based on the way this has been handled I would never purchase from them again so they have lost someone who spends a lot on skin care and cosmetics and I would suggest to anyone reading this to give them a miss There are other brands with much better customer services

Bad idea to buy

Price gouges and onus on customer to pay for delivery on return of goods Archaic way of doing business Can t say if products are worth the exorbitant price

Still waiting for my order that I bought on their website because I thought it will get sooner than if I would wait to buy at retailers like cult beauty Receive a email from them that delivery is around 16 days Even packages from CHINA and Australia are faster than this Let alone that they can t provide a normal track and trace The track and trace says the same in transit for 10 days already If you contact them then they say this packages shipped via tracked mail as opposed to an express courier service do not provide continuously updated tracking information What s the point of a tracked mail then With other words do not buy here And if you really want their products buy it at retailers

If I could leave zero stars I would Finally received my item but returned it as I bought from elsewhere as I waited so long I had to pay my own postage for the return as customer service don t reply to any emails they received the item 2 weeks ago and no refund No-one replying to my emails asking for a refund Will be taking this further this company needs to stop trading it s shocking that they re getting away with this for so long I cannot tell you more clearly DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE

Do not buy directly from their website They promise next day delivery but that isn t the case You can t speak to anyone and there is no update on your shipping I ve been waiting 4 days for my items and no shipping email I could have bought quicker from any other retailer No customer service number you have to email which is always a red flag Never buying from them again
