Really great team at HPP Cares I m sure they are bombarded with all the ADU Grants they help people with This is such an amazing service to help homeowners with an already increasing construction cost to build ADU s I m towards the end of the grant program with my file almost being closed and fulfilled

Giving points and credits where they are due HPP Cares has come a very long way since the ADU grant started I personally went through 3 HPP Cares managers that didn t know more than a door knob The latest manager Nancy is on par Love her Called get answer right away instead of a voicemail or a email that doesn t get a response back for days on end She knows her stuff inside out Helps with explaining things down to plain English Thank you for that Nancy I appreciate the time and effort into how HPP Cares have made their adjustment into the adu grant and making easier for consumers to understand and navigate through the adu grant process It wasn t before But now it is

It all works out in the end

After a complicated lengthy and confusing process we received our grant funds and can now build for our future and the future of our disabled child It took a lot to get to this place and we are very appreciative of the personal involvement of Katherine the executive director for HPP Cares A few days before the holiday she did everything she could to make sure the process was closed out and we received our funds We are very grateful for everything she did and hope others can realize the same sense of relief when their process is complete

My experience with Gabby was absolutely wonderful This woman went above and beyond to help me time after time Even though I was not her direct client Gabby stepped in to help me understand the situation and requirements in just one phone call She also immediately connected with the home builder to get everyone on the same page quickly She reached out to follow up and made herself available after hours so that we could achieve a deadline Gabby genuinely cares about the people she is helping and steps in for her team when needed not just once but until the job is complete She is a super valuable asset to the HPP Cares team and I feel lucky to had her help along the way She really made a difference for me

Katherine initially informed that I have been awarded the grant Jhon set up the meeting with Omar Omar followed it up today explaining which type of work can be funded with the grant and which ones will not qualify All have been very cordial in their conversations with me I am excited to work with them for the duration of the project
