Terrible voyage and much as I admire
Avoid Hurtigruten We booked our first Hurtigruten cruise from the Hurtigruten s official global www-page Pricy indeed Visited their page a couple of hours latter to find more details about upgrade to full board just to find that all their cruises are at a half a price in their official Norwegian pages There are no restrictions to order cruises from their Norwegian page but you naturally have to be able to read Swedish Norwegian while filling the form I personally find it outrages that English speakers are charge twice more and wonder how fair this is Truly dishonest company

Terrible voyage and much as I admire Joanna Lumley she would be ashamed to be associated with this company I somehow think she was treated in a different way to myself Yes indeed they really are the true dregs of how a company should treat its customers But they don t care as making money is of paramount importance to them What a sad world we live in

Example of worst customer service
Tried to book a trip and spoke to multiple booking experts planned the whole itinerary and was told when just about to book that my youngest doesn t meet the age cutoff SUCH A WASTE OF TIME and unclear how when the age was known from the beginning this couldn t be stated from the get go

COWBOYS OF THE HIGH SEAS
Poor pre holiday information led to us being refused embarkation along with 25 other people on 17th Nov in Dover Life is too short to explain the huge inconvenience and expense this led to Poorly dealt with leading to very elderly and three people in wheelchairs 27 in total being sent back home In contrast excellent service from CPS parking in Dover who refunded my 169 parking which was used for about 4 hours

Customer relations are shockingly bad Sales safe seem to be totally incapable of telling the truth It is very obvious that profit is way more important than the customer experience Broken promises and a couldn t care less attitude BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER JOKE DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO LIVE UP TO THEIR OBLIGATIONS READ THE SMALL PRINT AND MAKE A COPY OF THE Ts Cs AT THE TIME YOU BOOK AS THEY MIGHT BE REPLACED WITH LESS FAVOUABLE ONES LATER ON

The customer service is shocking
Well I haven t even got on board and I can only give them 1star On 2 occasions this week they have sent me Black Friday deals with NO SINGLE SUPPLYMENTS however when you try to book on line it there is a single supplement applied I then telephoned them and was told the advert was wrong and misleading so I asked to speak to a manager to be told non were available and they would ring me still waiting

The customer service is shocking While on board the barman charged us for 2 bottles of wine instead of 2 glasses we raised this immediately and the refund should also have happened immediately 119 5 weeks and 4 emails later still no response There are many other options for trips in this area and we will be taking those not Hurtigruten in future

Unfortunately I had to leave one star They cancelled the cruise just a few days before we were due to embark due to technical issues with the ship Fair enough but we have lost money because of it and they have refused to reimburse us Not only that but they gave us a feeble excuse as to why they wouldn t and it took them almost two weeks to respond to me Appalling customer service from a company who it would appear just want your money and don t care whether you are satisfied or not If I could have given them zero stars I would have done

Booked a ferry to leave from lesund to Bergen at 1 20am Booking process was a bit outdated needing to call up separately to get our bikes on board What was very frustrating was not being able to find the ferry port without help from some friendly locals No signs Google maps had the wrong location and no ticket desk etc This was especially annoying considering the departure time No information about where to board on the ticket tried to call customer services and they were closed

Shambles of a company
We are still waiting for a refund of pre-booked excursions on a cruise in November over two months ago that did not take place because the ship was unable to land passengers The crew and expedition team on the ship were lovely but the company they work for is dreadful
