Non existent customer service Was sent a faulty battery pack which they later issued a recall for All I was given was a measley gift card and no option for product replacement or repair No one gets back to you and you just get ignored

My device stopped working within the year and customer service is ghosting me
I purchased a USB Hub from them back in January of 2021 A month ago the ports for the USB randomly started working I reached out to support almost a month ago and was pleased with how responsive the rep was at the time Now almost a month later I have had no luck reaching anybody from support via telephone or email to get a status of my case I have tried opening new message chains and even those are marked as resolved immediately without even ever getting a response Do not use this company It honestly seems like a scam at this point I have been unable to work due to this device malfunction and being within my year warranty period I expected way better help than what I m receiving

Don t order from this company
Made purchase March 30 Said they got my order but no information after repeated requests The phone number listed is always busy Said would email when sent last order was sent right away Will contact my credit card company to get refund Don t order from this company Now April 17 still no response but they are looking into it and may take one week to get back to me They are still advertising the product for sale

I purchased a USB-C Charger months ago it was finally shipped during lock down and there was no way to contact the courier and hyper refused to assist Apparently once in transit there is nothing they can do So I Waited and the courier never showed even though I had someone attend the office for the day to receive Then the uncontactable courier message to say they would not make it Then I get a message that they where returning the package to send I ve emailed hyper many times and not once have they offered to assist Terrible customer service very disappointed

Refuses to refund for faulty recalled products
Purchased a Hyper Juice battery bank for 170 The thing gets burning hot when used The company later voluntarily recalled the product due to fire risk I was told that I could get Hyper customer credit to put towards a replacement or future purchase There is only one battery bank replacement for my fire brick avail with them but it s conveniently 70 more I asked Hyper to either replace my faulty battery bank with the sole newer battery bank that is avail or to refund my purchase They have refused Reporting them to regulators and consumer agencies and trying to claw back my money through the bank that it was purchased from Poor QC poor products refuses to refund for recalled products Avoid this company

A Month of Silence and Still Waiting
I m regretting my decision to place an order SH140586 with Hyper More than a month has gone by and my order is still incomplete No cable no invoice and worst of all no communication despite my multiple attempts through their ticket system 299349 This isn t just poor customer service it feels like a complete rip-off The utter lack of communication and resolution is absurd and unacceptable in today s digital age I m left with operational and financial delays and no way to rectify the situation If you re considering Hyper for your tech needs think again What looked like a straightforward purchase has turned into a cautionary tale of how quickly a company can cross the line into scam territory It s sad how their products feel so high quality while the company itself has such low standard for everything else

Purchased two separate items
Purchased two separate items Neither HyperDrive GEN2 with power and without power would work with multiple displays for me Kept having to unplug and plug back in cables Changed monitors and cables to other working pc so I know they were good In the end replaced HyperDrive with something else and it worked flawlessly Not worth the extra money in my humble view And making you login to twitter or facebook to leave a review on the hypershop com web site is a bit sketchy what s up with that Then making you create an account with YOTPO is even more sketchy

Do not buy their products
Crap products do not buy they have no quality control at all I have read and experienced more problems with there hubs than any other One of their hubs actually destroyed one of my customers iPads Thankfully I didn t recommend it If you do want a good hub go look at Anker I have been using there hub now for months with no issues Hypershop also filters out negative reviews for their products So if you left a review that had less than 4 stars it will never be seen by the public

Watch out Rip Off SCAM Company
Ordered a SSD Enclosure on 22 November Didn t hear anything for a week Submitted a Support Ticket After ticket issued they Created a Label with FedEx this happened on the 29th of November Contacted them via their ticket system and got an email from James Jackson in customer support giving me the tracking number and telling me the Item Shipped I checked FedEx tracking and the item was still listed as Label Created Contacted Hyper via their ticket system and received zero response Current status of order is as of Dec4 is still Label Created Cost me 90 to learn the lesson that this is a SCAM Company My own fault as I didn t research the company before spending my Stay Far Far away from these scammers

Cop-Out Excuses
They haven t been great with helping me with problems I always have to search for things myself Worst of all they give cop-out excuses in September of 2023 that it will take longer than usual and up to a week for them to respond DUE TO COVID At this point in the game its obvious when companies use cop-out excuses Do better hyperdrive
