Unhelpful uninterested estate agent
The estate agent we dealt with seemed very uninterested we went for a house viewing and he was very unenthusiastic literally said have a look at what you want to see there was no tour no information about the property just overall very unhelpful None the less we loved the property and then ended up in a bidding war with another couple Our final offer was highest but he said the sellers went with the other couple Which I can t understand he didn t tell us why I literally cried and he had no sympathy and said better luck next time This was heartbreaking and either our final offer wasn t put forward or the estate agent maybe favoured the other couple because this isn t how it works If neither party has met the sellers why would they choose a lower offer I then emailed the estate agent the following day just to say of course we are devastated but please do contact us if any other houses similar pop up on the market and I ve had no response So overall it was a very frustrating confusing devastating experience with very little help or communication

The IAD website was a great advert for our house with plenty of pictures and translations in both French and English Our Agent Colin Wildig was also excellent and kept us well informed with information and advice throughout the whole process As a result the house was sold within about a week which was a fantastic outcome

Well working real estate company
Although we didn t manage to sell our house the IAD real estate agent couldn t have been more helpful She was hardworking and sent us reports on how many people had visited their website etc She was also good at sorting the not serious people out so that we only had prospective buyers visiting We plan to try selling again in 2025 and we will definitely work with Veronique again
