They ignored me They LISTENED to IBAS
I was experiencing a SIX week nightmare on the Betting Industry platform BETFAIR where a sum of 200 had disappeared from my account for no obvious reason I then was sucked into a six week cat and mouse thing where I was continually contacting Betfair and they were basically ignoring my approaches to even discuss the disappearance of my cash Having had no joy after that length of time I found IBAS on the internet and in like ten minutes I finally had a louder voice I received my money my apology and am now negotiating a small sum in compensation all thanks to IBAS who made me VISIBLE again thanks to Ron Hearn and the team at IBAS James Greenshields Glasgow

Absolutely brilliant I had 2 disputes with bookmakers they both refused to pay contacted ibas they sorted them both out and got my money within 3 days definitely go to them if bookmakers refusing to pay you

So far so good with hardly any response
So far so good with hardly any response from the gambling site and refusing to payout 18k winnings it has resulted in a deadlock and involving IBAS case is still on going but Danny is very prompt at replying and very helpful thank you IBAS for this service

IBAS did all they can but
I referred a dispute with Ladbrokes to IBAS the details of my very unfair account closure is well documented on Ladbrokes page here Whilst I knew this fell outside of the remit of IBAS I felt they had listened and understood my frustrations and offered me advice on how to proceed with Ladbrokes The whole gambling industry needs a major overhaul of how companies are allowed to treat their long standing customers without any ombudsman or overriding control over them they can discriminate freely because they can they even refused to pay out a winning bet of just 2 unless I instruct my lawyer again just because they can Their T C s say they don t even have to give a reason I don t know if this attitude is exclusive to Ladbrokes but I d certainly advise anyone to not deposit with them I didn t expect IBAS to be able to put things right for me but it felt like there was a real person there who was at least sympathetic to my case It s frustrating that there is nobody externally who I can complain to about this as I really have a very valid case Of course I emailed a complaint to Ladbrokes many times but they failed to reply to it The Gambling Commission noted my case but couldn t act on it There really needs to be a complaints procedure in place or a UK telephone number for Ladbrokes as the call centre staff are only trained to quote their T C s and hang up Thanks for listening IBAS but I remain incredibly frustrated that there is nothing at all I can do about unfair discrimination being allowed to go on unchallenged

ONCE AGAIN IBAS COMES UP TRUMPS
Once again IBAS comes up trumps I have referred three disputes with bookmakers to IBAS in the past year and a half and every time the bookmaker in question has paid out after I involved IBAS in the dispute I have seen some nonsensical negative reviews of IBAS on Trustpilot recently and I would recommend people to totally ignore them It would seem that half the people that write these negative reviews can t even spell properly so I don t think they should be taken too seriously I cannot praise IBAS highly enough It is an easy process to set up a dispute for adjudication on their website they are very speedy in getting back in contact practically instantaneous in fact and THEY GET RESULTS Bookmakers only suggest to clients that they should contact IBAS when they know the client is in the wrong They never mention IBAS when they know that they themselves are in the wrong There is a worrying trend at the moment of bookmakers hiding behind affordability checks and money laundering checks in order to avoid paying out winnings This has happened to me several times this year On some occasions I have resolved the problem myself but on others I have needed IBAS and without their intervention I doubt I would have ever been paid So I would advise anyone with a genuine dispute with a bookmaker to contact IBAS But don t expect them to solve your problem if you are the one in the wrong and not the bookmaker And a special mention for Ron Hearn who is very diligent and very effective
