After buying a Sony A95l from John
After buying a Sony A95l from John Lewis only 3 months in and I had 2 occasions of 5 red flashing leds which was a tcon err 12c fault which according to the internet is a faulty motherboard I reported this to John Lewis and they said they would get an engineer sent out Great I thought and we organised a day I took the day off so I could be here and by midday I had heard nothing from the engineer about what time to expect him so I tried to call their customer service number I started the phone call in position 10 and after holding for over 3 5 hours I had got down to position 3 by which time the engineer arrived so I hung up He apologised and said he had forgotten to press send on the message to let me know what time to expect him So he inspected my tv and I showed him the service menu with the logged faults he agreed that the tv needed swapping out and they would contact me when they were ready to bring me a new tv or so I thought Fast forward to today 20 sept 2024 and the engineer arrived with not a new tv but a factory refurbished unit in a beaten up box with what looks like large bubble wrap covering the tv so I rejected the tv I m sorry but I do not know how this company has the contracts to service and repair these high end and expensive goods when they can t even be delivered in undamaged boxes with the factory packaging I did get an email reply to my query but that arrived after the engineer had been and I had already rejected the tv Poor poor service and Sony and John Lewis should look very closely at who they have represent them in the service and repairs of their goods

My tv is faulty Samsung have arranged for this company to fix I have still not heard from them and it s been 5 days No one answers the phone or replies to email I don t understand how Samsung have given them a contract

I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with a recent experience regarding your repair service Instead of sending two engineers as expected I was informed that the engineers would require assistance moving the TV from customers This approach raises significant concerns particularly for elderly or disabled individuals who may struggle with such tasks Additionally I found your phone lines consistently busy and after being on hold for two hours I was unable to reach anyone for assistance It is perplexing that a reputable company like John Lewis would partner with a repair service that operates so poorly This experience has led me to reconsider future purchases of televisions through John Lewis I hope you will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving your service

The phone line is pointless I ve been
The phone line is pointless I ve been on hold for several hours then stopped trying I did email them and they replied within the same day which was good The Italian collection drive is very polite and came within 2 weeks after I gave up on calling I m waiting for them to return the tv hopefully it won t take 2 months The worst customer service I ve ever had

There is nothing good to say about this company 1 I waited 1 and half hours on the phone to report TV fault The repair man came 2 weeks later 2 When I made the original call I checked that 2 people would deliver and then set up the TV I was told yes although they now deny this Delivery guy arrived and said that they don t do set up - that was up to me Problem is - they couldn t give two hoots It is not as though we can choose another repairer they re contracted to Sony I told Richer Sounds from where I bought the original TV They said that ICTV attitude was poor and as a gesture of goodwill would refit and set up the TV themselves

Next to Impossible to speak call
I have a job reference from Sony to schedule a service I called them around 9 15 AM and was number 6 in the queue It s now past 12 PM and I m currently number 2 It feels like this delay is intentional I don t work there but should it really take almost three hours to assist four people ahead of me I will update my post with my experience once the job is completed
