IELTS is a scam
Signed up for an IELTS academic online for my study abroad Date of my speaking exam was January 12th at 10 am Tried logging in 45 prior with two laptops and the program didn t work wasn t able to take the exam Got a new date at 5pm the same day wasn t asked if the new time was acceptable for me so it was basically be there or be square Tried logging in an hour before with 3 devices after an hour it finally worked but the examiners audio was not working properly so she had to cancel the exam Was given another exam date the same day at 7 pm was again not asked if the time was okay with me again 45 minutes of logging in and it finally worked Had to cancel my all of my appointments last minute that day because otherwise I wouldn t have been able to do my speaking exam The next day my written exam was at 2 am since IELTS didn t specify on their website if the exam takes place at 2 am or pm Tried changing the date prior since the confirmation email finally confirmed that the exam was in fact at 2 am Rescheduling was not an option for IELTS Got up at 1 am since I wanted to make sure that the program worked my desk was clear and I was sitting in the kitchen with everyone in my apartment asleep and no one in the room with me Examiner told me I was not allowed to sit in an open space and asked if it was possible for me to move to another room Since I share my bedroom and it was 2 am that was not an option Examiner told me in that case she has to cancel the exam and I will probably get a new date Emailed IELTS didn t get a new date so 260 went down the drain Wasted 1 day for the speaking no apology whatsoever and got my written exam cancelled because I was sitting in an open space meaning the kitchen even though no one was in the room with me

Disqualified for using Apple
Disqualified for using Apple peripherals I was disqualified from my IELTS exam because of my Apple mouse on my Mac computer Despite using an approved device the proctor was late by 30 minutes and incorrectly informed me that only wired devices were allowed even though Bluetooth devices are part of my computer When I suggested using a USB wireless mouse I was told I needed a wired one which was incorrect The technical requirements were vague about what devices Mac users should use and these requirements are only included in a PDF file within the terms and conditions not provided in full prior to booking and payment Even after contacting their complaint department and customer service they stuck to their terms and conditions failing to address the misleading information from the proctor and not explaining what Mac users are supposed to use They didn t offer a reschedule or refund resulting in a loss of 2 175dkk and impacting my university admission However they provided a confusing explanation for only offering invoices after successful exam completion which added to my frustration After the issue I checked and found numerous similar complaints on Reddit Quora and Apple discussions showing a pattern of issues with this organization

IELTS AT HOME IS A SCAM
i had planned a test with IELTS for my further education Immediately after buying the test I received an email that everything went well but that my passport document had not been approved and that I had to upload it properly within 24 hours otherwise I would not be allowed to take the test Within 10 minutes I had adjusted it in the requested way so that I could take the test The next day I receive an e-mail without mercy that I didn t do it at all and that I was not allowed to take the test and that I would not get my money back My account was deleted by them so I couldn t prove anywhere that I had done exactly what they asked of me After emailing them I received the same answer every time that I was not allowed to take the test and whether I would get my money back IELTS is a scam and deprive you of money without providing the test

IELTS Online is the worst experience ever and the reason I am not able to get admission to my dream education
IELTS Online is the worst experience of an unprofessional company and terrible service They are supposed to test my English but are not able to write or speak proper English in their support My test was cancelled 3 times in a row finally got a time that wasn t cancelled and completed the speaking test 8 hours later I receive another mail about a technical issue that has cancelled my already completed speaking test and the following written test I got no reason why The process ended up being too long which resulted in me not being able to get admission to my desired education Thanks IELTS you are terrible I have reported the behavior and carelessness to both universities legal departments and hope it will result in a lost license for hosting tests in Denmark

Thieves empowered by organizations
I would give them below a one star if it were possible IELTS is nothing short of a money-making scheme disguised as a language proficiency test Their sole purpose seems to be draining candidates wallets with exorbitant fees offering little in return The test itself is archaic and fails to accurately assess language skills It s evident that IELTS cares more about profit margins than providing a fair evaluation of language abilities Giving them even one star feels generous they deserve to be exposed for the frauds they truly are
