Avoid this Store
If you are visiting Copenhagen and are looking for Danish or Scandinavian design you should avoid this store If you for some reason should need assistance from the customer service counter you ll meet a very arrogant and unhelpful assistance She will try to send you away as quickly as possible rather than understand the assistance you need The staff and the store in general is a messy place The good thing is that there are plenty of nice stores in Copenhagen where you can buy the same designs and often at a better price

So disappointed
So disappointed I placed an online order on Nov 11th One month and a half after still waiting for the parcel to be shipped and my emails to be answered This is really a very confusing and annoying situation I ve been buying online for years now and I can assure you I ve never gone through nothing comparable to this purchase It s not only my Xmas presents did not arrive on time it s about the contempt shown for the customer

Arrogant Rude Impolite and censorship for comments
On Black Friday I was in Illum-bolighus butique in Field s That was not so crowded but I think all sellers were panic One of the ladies just hit my foot with a trolley she saw that I sit on the floor from pain but she didnt even say a simple word SORRY That is not the attitude you expect from a high class shop The manager was also rude and impolite She blocked me after writing this to her there is not a public place for comments and they do not answer private messages at all I still have pain in my foot heel and I am very sad with this exprience

Non-existent customer service
Had ordered two items that combined form a furniture After asking them several times to send both they only sent one I have been on the phone more than 5 times and written over 10 emails but no reply The customer service is the worst I have ever experiences in my life and will definitely not buy anything from them again

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service for such an iconic Danish company I ve sent three emails over 5 days and am yet to receive a response Based on the other reviews I m reading this is clearly not uncommon for them I will think twice before purchasing from them again

Avoid this shop
I did read all the negative reviews here before buying from Illums Bolighus and still gave it a try - that was a big mistake Customer service is non existent Did a simple online purchase and instead of getting my goods within few days it took 3 months and only because I kept reminding them about it Did write them several times as it appeared that they forgot about my purchase got promises that they will check it never heard back so I wrote again and again Finally they said my goods are shipped though they weren t After more waiting they did ship the goods but carelessly filled the DHL shipment waybill by not itemising the invoice and stating that VAT is not paid although it was during the purchase The package landed in the customs whereas it shouldn t had within the EU DHL customer service did state that double-taxing within EU does not make sense but the sender has to fix their mistake Illums customer support did not respond to our inquiry and in the end I ended up dealing with customs for two weeks and paying twice the amount of the original cost of some simple piece of jewellery I do lots of online purchases and this has been by far my worst one
