ZERO STARS
If I could give zero stars I would Absolute joke of a company There is no one to contact apart from email and they never reply The live chat says they are not in business hours even when it is during the middle of the day Our camera system is unusable and the streaming error notification does not go away even when reinstalling the app MANY many times So I am now left with a device that is unusable away from the wifi at the house with no customer service or tech help at all Absolutely infuriating Steer clear of this company

I love the cameras BUT
I love the cameras wanting to buy more BUT BUT the App it s so dificul to use and their customer service the worse I have come across with It almost looks like they want to destroy their business There is no telephone number for the USA their WhatsApp number is never your time zone any message any time you get an automatic message that you are outside their working hours I mean it s not a chat and the chat which is so hard to find in their app you get someone who makes a ticket number to be resolve later From me no more business with them Screw that Imou company

Imou cameras useless without cloud subscription
With each update they kept pushing the cloud subscription in our faces Because that didn t work they now locked basic functions like DOWNLOADING SD CARD VIDEOS unless you pay subscription I will change all Imou Cameras instead of paying that subscription

Unfortunately there is no AI Enhanced
Unfortunately there is no AI Enhanced detection without a subscription so way too many false alerts This should come as standard like with many other security camera manufacturers Whenever there is a shadow or car passing there will be a motion detection This is hugely problematic I have a doorbell camera from a not so known manufacturer and it works flawlessly Only get detection when there is an actual human in zone

There are no manuals
There are no manuals The software is not intuitive Customer support is terrible An example from a support email is And about the zone you can decrease some piece is easy to get the detection On the phone I was given directly opposite advice by two different people regarding a 1 to 5 range one said 1 was maximum sensitivity and the other said the opposite I am going to replace Imou Google Nest

Constant harassment
Constant harassment by their program to subscribe to their cloud service as well as adverts I have bought with local storage But every time I want to look at a camera I am forced to decline online subscription 1 year now Hate them No warning about this was posted anywhere on their products No possibility to bypass Lousy company with no respect for their customers

Misleading IFTTT support claim
Very disappointed by the misleading claim about the IFTTT support Though the IMOU website i e uk alexa still claims that their products support IFTTT the information is false I have been told that the ITFFF agreement has terminated in May 2020 Furthermore I am unable to reach any support staff by telephone or via on-line chat Email responses take at least 24 hours and in some cases no responses at all Frustrated by the after-sale support
