For years now IMVU has committed multiple scams and harbored scams They will more than likely ban your account for so much as talking to their out-sourced customer support that have no ability to do anything outside of forward your payments and ban your account without appeal They constantly violate multiple user and consumer rights and multiple laws across the locations their app is accessable Avoid using this program or giving them any money

im literally pissed off with this game they put my account on hold just know that i had a account 3 years ago in 2019 that was HACKED and my account now is on hold all of a sudden even tho i have paid for credits since and i apparently owe them over 350 that they wont even explain why this game is bs they will scam you out of money do not play my account is still on hold until i pay them that ridiculous amount quit while u can

they never fix any issues with the classic client it doesn t sync with the beta or mobile client while in rooms they take features that used to be available to everyone and put them behind a pay wall they are removing the standard VIP plan and adding a tiered vip system that doesn t benefit the users it only forces you to spend more to get the features you had with classic vip years ago they totally disrespected and hurt the dev community by taking away their option to sell credits they earned for products they made just so they d have to go thru IMVU so IMVU can get a second cut of the credit profit the greed and lack of care they show towards their users is just insane

IMVU is a scam They will steal your money and ban your account if you contact Customer Support IMVU staff make their own Avatars to stalk and harass people If you complain your account will be banned IMVU has stolen hundreds of thousands of over the years from new members who then get banned so they cannot claim their money back IMVU closed any real ability to give them feedback when they closed the IMVU forums years ago since then IMVU has been nothing but a moneymaking scam for the company and its staff of thieves liars crooks and sexual predators Do not go anywhere near IMVU ever

It s disappointing because phone users who don t have a desktop can t have access to the game like ap and marriage etc and there should be free access to some things or challenges that award better credits It s not nice and glitches etc can really be avoided also kids younger that 17 should not be on this app Even if ap isn t on phone a 13 ur old can use it on pc so

IMVU is the ultimate example of a company who is run by a bunch of morons to put it nicely I have been a part of this community for twelve years now and ever since I joined things have been going downhill Let s start simple they could care less about Mac users From the very beginning I have had issues with the program working on my MacBook Pro consistently writing to the customer service only to get very vague responses I even called them out saying that Macs are better machines and their responses spelled out their programers are either too lazy or too stupid to write a program that can work on both Macs and PCs like Second Life Now I m stuck using imvu beta which is a desktop version of their mobile app because writing a program that works on the newest Mac software platforms is apparently too advanced for those imbeciles They also don t handle abuse stalking reports at all I ve had several friends make multiple reports about members and the abusers would never get banned I honestly struggle to describe this website without swearing up a storm at how incompetent they are so I m going to leave this review right here

IMVU will rob you and laugh in your face

As someone who s been on IMVU for over 10 years don t waste your time on this dying app The customer service is just as uninterested as IMVU is as a company I ve had great upstanding and years of playing just to randomly log in and see my account was deactivated for whatever made up reason they came up with I ve been in customer service the past two days over my account and finally had all I could stand when the customer service agent called me a liar and laughed at me Save yourself YEARS of frustration and being taken advantage of and go do anything else but give them more money Peace and love
