Another Vendor who makes extra money on our misfortune I purchased several indicators from this company to help with trading I dont use the indicators very often because they are not the best options since they respond after the fact Nevertheless I do like to consult them time to time to see if they can confirm They have some value and they can do that So altogether they can be helpful at times Out of all the platforms out there that I am familiar with NinjaTrader is the only one affected by a Microsoft update When an update occurs and this is inevitable it causes your machine ID to get changed and your indicators will no longer work on the platform But many Vendors also have the ability for the customer to go into their website and change the machine ID when this happens without a fee But there is always one who wants to take advantage of your situation And this is the case with Indicator Warehouse I sent him a recent email advising my machine ID was changed after an update He sent me back a reply asking for 30 dollars to make the change on his end THIS IS NOT COOL This is not right This is out of my control I have sent him an email and advised him I will take the loss and simply never use the indicators again It is a matter of principle for me I just want to let others know what to expect from Vendors who find a way to gouge you when they can The updates are outside of our control and the Vendors should be a bit more flexible when they are customers especially when they return to buy additional indicators In a sad way it feels like extortion We already paid for the indicator but now it is held hostage unless I pay to release them
