This is terrible customer service and behavior really the worst bank I ever used I am calling to customer service they repeat same stuff but this is never works and then they propose you send letters PEC But never explain the reason Never any sorry they keep you in in obscurity and it feels like you talk to robots you ask where is money and they just repeat to wait I dont understand how they are still working with such a service

4 weeks to open a bank account and still waiting
After trying to start the online process of opening a bank account with them I waited over 4 weeks I am stil waiting to have my documents verified The verification should have happened online already and after over a week of having all of my physical documents they still haven t opened a basic bank account I called multiple times to confirm that my documents were received and each time I was told to wait 24-48 hours This went on for over a week One operator was frustrated at me complaining about the wait times Inefficient slow and confusing

Many problems No answer
I opened a current bank account and used this account for my salary payments at ING Roma 4 months ago because I heard about your service quality First of all asked for a credit card 100 times no answer despite the first day at the bank they told me to expect it in a week Second 500 euro daily limitation of spending or cash out really in my previous bank it was 2000 Third I m trying to bonifico 300 euros for my sister in Germany your system does not accept her IBAN which was accepted by several other bank accounts before so I tried to charge my Revolut account and DECLINE And to wrap the perfect service of yours no one in your branches in Italy speaks English

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service They behave in a superior manner as if they know everything when in reality they know little about how to guide the customer with technical issues But what do you expect from people who are not trained properly and who are not monitored by their managers on how to be polite

So incredibly difficult to open account
Over and over again I ve tried to give them the documentation they ask for to open the account Each time I chat with someone they give a different story of what is needed and then what actually appears as required on the activation page is completely different than what the chat agents say Additionally the chat agents are very slow to respond between messages Finally they are unable to just accept documents electronically like UniCredit everything must be mailed Definitely excessively difficult especially for a bank without physical branches

Unhappy ING Client since 2006
I ve been a client of ING Italia since 2006 and until a couple of years ago was perfectly satisfied not only with their online banking service the possibility of zero costs to maintain the account I am now a pensioner their investment possibilties until they reduced the interest rate to zero and their telephone service which has been excellent as far as my experience has been Over the last two to three years their telephone service has been reduced to the absolute minimum necessary it takes at least 5 minutes to get to the final choice to access the help you need and even worse it has become virtually impossible to speak to a human being for help or for advice Furthermore I am now inundated with unnecessary and UNRQUESTED emails reminding me to ensure there are sufficient funds in the current account to meet the monthly credit card payments absolutely insulting Other unrequested emails remind me to be careful of fishing attempts - as if I don t watch the news Moreover their securityl has become more and more difficult for me to cope with at my age passwords tokens smart codes security questions etc are an essential prerequisite to maintaining the security of the account - but do nothing to help your sanity An online bank account is certainly the way forward to maintaining your money and investments safely but these online banks seem to prefer spending a fortune on advertising and other so-called publicity stunts rather than providing a serious online help service for their clients - read many previous criticisms below In other words once you re a client of ING Italia you re a mug

This bank is pathetic
This bank is pathetic Really and truly don t go here Don t give them your money or your custom they don t deserve either Firstly regarding my Bancomat card the number on the card is not raised like brail letters are just printed in black ink guess what After using it a lot putting it in and out of my wallet the ink has begun to fade meaning when I have to quote the number online or over the phone I can t read it anymore even though it is still valid for another year ING s response I have to apply for a new card BUT cut this card between 12-30 days BEFORE I receive the new card How bloody stupid is that In other countries you cut the card when the new one arrives Two days ago I applied for a small loan for a second-hand car Their computer refused me the loan in 2 minutes with no reason why so I thought OK I will scale back my amount and apply for a smaller loan so I tried to re-apply for half the amount NO If you ask for a loan you can t ask for another loan for at least FORTY DAYS How absolutely absurd is that ING Your Service is crap and your Customer Service is non-existent I give you a rating of 2 10 pathetic

Worst italian bank la peggiore banca d italia
As foreigner who moved to Italy with all the needed residence papers it seems impossible to open an account Went to a branch in Roma the guy couldnt open an account onsite which already tells a lot Then he asked me to apply online and PRINT all the papers sign them and send everything to MIlano branch Who does that in 2023 Anyway I did it though thought about calling Lorenzo de Medici and send it by pigeons as it was in the 16th century After 2-3 weeks no information at all All the documents were provided everything sent by post received and customer service was saying it takes time and nobody knows how long Nobody can do anything about it all you need to do is wait Wait for what to get an iban when you have a copy of all my personal documents and a signed contract Wait how long a month a year a decade Since there was no help no solution no timeline just incompetent customer service I told them to cancel my request i opened an account elsewhere Operator canceled my request and at the end she said perfetto Lol Seriously you are happy that a customer closed an account you call it perfect that i use someone else s services this was the funniest and worst experience for me in Italy in the past two years since i moved here Good thing that they have many other banks in Italy who can open an account within 1-2 days Ci vuole un eternit per aprire un conto -settimane anche se ho detto che urgente a causa di una transazione Non provarci nemmeno con loro non funziona nulla e il servizio clienti inutile Quando li ho chiamati per chiudere il conto perch insoddisfatto non mi hanno nemmeno chiesto il motivo o come risolvere il mio problema servizio ridicolo

Ing have changed the structure of their
Ing have changed the structure of their f24 system before I could enter and pay f24 in my name and by flick of a switch also pay those of my wife cambia CF ecc now After change of compilation Page I cannot pay my own nor those of my wife so much for evolution we only go backwards Now I have to contact ing via phone and have them compile f24 over phone k scifo no explanations as to why during November f24 was ok now December is not maybe I should change bank
