Poor Coverage
I can t give it any less stars Check Check double check the wording including exclusions- Far far too many What are you actually paying for You get sent to a claims company anyone of 5 different departments who don t want to know- shoddy service Theft cover DOES NOT cover mobile phones I got told this after going through all the procedures 2 months down the line Not worth the money look elsewhere

Good to know before taking out a policy the customer service isn t great
working for nhs this company offers discount So I thought I would ask for a quote called the line and the man who answered was very cold and short with answers Said to look online as he didn t want to go through all the various options There are 3 So I looked online and yes there is a small discount But as there are a couple of medical things I needed to let them know about and you need an endorsement number to carry online Called again this time a lady answered Call was a very bad line so she called me back Better customer service but very keen to get off the phone and not deal with all the queries without repeatedly asking and prompting Looking at the reviews I will stay with the current company as overrall without an nhs discount works out cheaper and covers much more including cameras phones etc Would be good to know if anyone from the company reads the reviews

Insuremore maybe not best for families
Insuremore is competitive in pricing and offer HM forces a 10-20 discount also Inviting BUT DON T BE FOOLE On a cruise our ship was late getting back and therefore my family and I missed our connection transport to the airport The Taxi cost 150 We made the flight but I was out the taxi fare 1st response I was told as the ship started and finshed in the UK iam not entilted to claiming I live in Northern Ireland so if i missed the bus and flight the cost is up to me Beware IOM Guernsey Jersey IOW customers I kept the receipt and emailed for a claim when i got home Make sure you sign the policy when they ask you for it It has taken them from July 24th 2019 until today 13th Sept 2019 to state that the excess is 50 PER PERSON NOT Per POLICY Therefore the cliam is negative 50 family of 4 Be wary of the Ts Cs as this is the first time i have used Insuremore and the first time i have ever been told that the excess is per person not per policy So if you are more than a family of 4 this insurance company may not be the best option

Waste of money
Purchased the highest level of travel cover through BLC as an emergency services worker in January 2020 Booked to go Spain 22 03 and stay in a private villa but was cancelled due to COVID-19 Flights were quickly refunded by easyJet but submitted a claim to insurers as the villa and Bristol airport parking refused to refund Have just received a letter from insurers saying they will not cover any of the losses Absolute waste of money why purchase insurance at all Edit 1 My policy number is JIM19A-2920411 I will be submitting a complaint The FAQs on Insuremore website state that travel insurance is invalid if you travel against FCO advice Ergo say it s invalid if you don t travel also as they do not cover FCO advice Insuremore state that cancellation is covered and for a claim to be submitted for losses Ergo say you can submit the claim but that doesn t mean they have to approve it When is this insurance valid Clearly Ergo and Insuremore do not communicate with each other they don t care what either is selling or providing They don t care about falsely selling useless insurance to emergency services workers to just refuse every claim Disgusting Edit 2 emailed customer service like advised in other replies still no contact Terrible service it s July and I ve been waiting since March Do not buy their insurance they cannot be trusted

Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs Booked a holiday in 2019 for 2020 taken out their Holiday Insurance but due to corona virus the holiday was cancelled refunded my holiday money i went to get a refund from these crooks and they said NO totally refused my refund request went and seek legal advice and was told YES due to corona virus they are entitled to refund my Premium but still refuse my refund To everyone out there DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS

Absolute scam
Absolute scam Gave me false information over the phone to sell me the insurance I also had to chase them up for almost two months to get a response on my claim and there was no one to talk to Waste of money I have been buying travel insurance for many years and this is the worst company I have used by far

SCAM COMPANY
Purchased insurance well before Covid was known to travel in April via blue light card as an emergency services worker Holiday was cancelled Flights refunded via easyJet however the accommodation needed claiming - Insuremore refused to pay out Absolutely disgusting service Their website makes it seem like claims prior to March 2020 will be paid Please everyone avoid this insurance Ombudsmen are next for me

Travel insurance not fit for purpose
Insuremore s 26-page Travel Insurance Policy Wording contains two important words in the Exclusions section These are Government Regulations This effectively renders the travel insurance policy not fit for purpose for anyone hoping to claim for financial losses incurred through holiday cancellation because of Covid-19 This is extremely disappointing as I have bought travel insurance policies from this company for the past ten years I will not do so again Communication with customers is also extremely poor the claims form gives an address from which there is no response there is a phone number to a recorded message explaining that the customer helpline has been discontinued because of the Covid-19 situation the policy wording directs that complaints should be addressed to the Managing Director but he or she does not reply Email has to be sent more than once before it is answered This entire process took almost five months I would advise anyone planning to buy an insurance policy from this company not to do so

I bought travel insurance for myself
I bought travel insurance for myself and a group of 9 for worldwide travel However due to the pandemic our flights to India were cancelled Firstly when I called the call centre the person I spoke to was very unhelpful and dismissive of any question I had I then went on to email to check if I would be able to claim on insurance as otherwise I would like to cancel my policy I did not hear back for 4 weeks at which point I just had a blanket no and was told to go to the airline I understand that the company is probably busy and delayed responses however due to their 4 week delay if i try to cancel the policy now I have lost out on a further 4 weeks that I could have had reimbursed as the cancellation refunds are pro-rata I have tried to call the company and can not get through or am on hold for lengthy periods of time Totally unhelpful

Do not use this company
Do not use this company Took insurance out before COVID for Holiday booked in April which was cancelled I contacted them and they were quick with sending me a claim form which I sent back recorded so I know they received it as I checked my tracking I did not hear anything for weeks so I tried calling it was a answer phone so I left my contact number as requested NEVER HEARD back from them so I sent a few emails and just had a automated email back every time so basically you can t get hold of them I went for the most expensive insurance and what a complete waste of time so I will never be using this company ever again
