Taking someone for a fraudulent ride

I am disgusted in this company and its subsidiaries behaviour Their Domestic Cover Ltd company prey on people convince them to give their details over the phone pretending that they already know you and that you use them they then take money by DD which is for something that is not required domestic cover is already covered by home insurance and the Sale of goods act the consumer act it is not required and not wanted but preying old a person who is elderly is the lowest that a company can go

This company enabled a newly set up company which called my 88 year old mother and sold her a service which she doesn t need and they couldn t provide scam to set up a direct debit on her account On its own the company involved would not have been accepted into the Direct Debit Scheme as they have no track record Interface Ltd has a duty to carry out KYC on their clients A cursory glance on the Companies House website at the current and former directors and their current and former companies should have raised a few flags In Interbacs Ltd defence when I called they had suspended the company however they should never have been enabled in the first place

Scammers

Tried setting up an unauthorised direct debit for a company my elderly grandmother had never even heard of or contacted Extremely concerning that they have not only her address but also her bank details Disgusting trying to scam elderly people Reported to the financial ombudsman

Appalled to see Interbacs have taken

Appalled to see Interbacs have taken nearly 500 off my 91 year old mother who has Alzeimers So many new direct debits with different company names all for things the poor woman doesn t need or have All stopped with the bank but unfortunately the money has been lost Should be ashamed
