I am not happy at all with Intercape I ve booked the bus twise and in both occasions the toilets were not in good condition Urine could be smelt on the bus

Utterly disappointed
Utterly disappointed Bus set to get to P e at 20 10 gets there 30-40 minutes No communication whatsoever Due to time I booked a flight to CPT I then send a email to Intercape offices and spoke with Luzaan M who was absolutely disrespectful and not helpful Her manager called me and she states yes the bus did delay but we cant compensate you as it is in our policy that they can delay up to an hour Great job Danielle the head of complaints I requested the copy of my calls and this was refused I was advised buses can delay up to an hour and still no compensation will be made rather issue you with an sms

Doors are Duck Taped to the Bus
Bus drove into something and broke a door off This was ducktaped back onto the bus by passengers because the drivers were too utterly useless to do it themselves The bus was as a result 10 hours late I d rather crawl on my belly to my destination than take this bus

I ve been using this service for years
I ve been using this service for years now today i was very much dissatisfied and disappointed with their inhuman behaviour and response that I recieved from one of their cashiers or consultants whatever they call themselves It s so sad that when n you are 5 minutes late you can t board a bus and they tell you point blank that you need to buy a new ticket whenever the bus is late you must just accept and wait for the bus to come they don t give you a few minutes grace irregardless if you had an emergency or you were stuck in traffic They just leave you behind and you forfit the money that you had spent

RUDE AND BAD ATTITUDE FROM JHB PARK STATION STAFF
Dear Intercape Officials I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the rude behavior of your staff on 09th of June during my son s commute on bus 801 from JHB to Mthatha The ticket checker and driver were dismissive and unhelpful when we had to sign a form for my child who was traveling alone When we had to sign the guy by the door chased us to ask the driver to sign when we get to the driver he also chased us to the guy who checks tickets this is not the first time to receive such attitude from JHB staff for such instance They became confrontational and rude making me feel uncomfortable and disrespected The behavior of your staff was unacceptable and did not align with the level of service I expect from your company I hope you will take necessary actions to address this issue and ensure that your staff treats passengers with respect and courtesy Details Ticket number 0906240262YQ597Bus Number 801- Date 10 06 2024Time 18 30Location JHB Park station I hope to hear from you soon

DO NOT BOOK INTERCAPE
I booked a bus ticket for my brother for the 28 04 2024 This bus was supposed to leave Butterworth at 16h40 and arrive in CPT just before 10am the next day the bus was 5 hours late and it s infested with cockroaches They do not have a bus terminus in Butterworth no proper waiting area that place IS NOT SAFE Intercape s motto is safe dependable affordable However their service is the opposite it s HORRENDOUS I am so DISGUSTED The call centre agent s aren t helpful no one has attended to my complaint and they just don t give a f c THIS IS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY NO PUNCTUALITY NOT CUSTOMER CENTRIC that was not it the bus broke down in PE apparently there was an issue with the breaks What mockery is that To whoever is reading this DO NOT BOOK THIS NONSENSICAL TRANSPORT DO NOT ZERO STARS FOR ME

I booked a bus ticket and boarded the bus from Durban to Newcastle when the bus arrived at Pietermarirzburg I got off the bus to buy coffee To my surprise when I got back into the bus someone was sitting in my seat The bus driver and co-ordinater gave them my seat and had to sit at another place just because the passenger had a minor and wanted to watch them This is my last time I ever board another InterCape Nonsense service

I m not happy with the service I got and how Intercape is misleading their consumers I bought 4 tickets 2 were for adults and 2 for kids and the 10 discount that they are advertising it did not apply to my kids As we were boarding the bus urine smell welcomed us The sits are dirty it just tells that it was not cleaned I m appelledNext of Kin details were not required as per the person who was assisting me at the ticket office when I asked the guy gave me a lame excuse that the details will delay us Checkers does a sterling job with booking compared to what I experienced at your desk

Deception
I am travelling on bus 233 Sleepliner from Pretoria to Grootbrak - 19 5 hours of travelling on a bus filled to capacity Intercape claims extra legspace on the sleepliner This is total deception The 2nd row left on the top deck has a maximum of 8cm legspace when the front row reclines which is all the time No human legs can fit in that small space- not even a child What do I do with my legs for 19 plus hours I have to sit in one position with my knees being knocked non-stop The most uncomfortable trip EVER I will not use Intercape again
