If I could add no stars I would It has been more that 1 month since I had to cancel my trip and after being in constant comversation swith customer service a 200 USD extra cost in long distamce service I recived a response that the insurance I bought did not cover the situation Rene from the siniestros department just replied with the resolution I just paraphrased and translated his input I m currently seeking help from the Barcelona authority to take this matter and make intermundial accountable or else don t offer insurance service If you have a similar conflict reach out to tramites administracion gob esTo whom it mY concern 500 hundred dollars to waste by using this company is ok I lost but i hope that people read this and deters from booking vacations on this site If I can change people s mind and make this scam less profitable we can even out again don t use this company people I ended up completing my vacation the following week I couldn t make it bevause there was a flight cancellation due to covid as per the airline what a scam

A big SCAM I m more than disappointed about this travel insurance I couldn t make it to my trip because I fell down and got stuck in my back and couldn t move anymore three days before my trip I had a multirisk insurance which is supposed to cover these cases of refunds after one month and a half of my reimbursement request i receive the response today and it got rejected cause the insurance isn t covering this health issue case I m speechless and shocked which case should the insurance cover a death for example I bought the most expensive one but guess what even this one won t cover you if any circumstances happen What a big shame I won t leave this here cause this kind of scandal isn t acceptable

Think twice about this company

This company is a scam I purchased travel insurance with them in case I needed to cancel my trip so I can get my money back There was no fine print and the resort s website where I booked the trip said I can cancel and get a refund for any reason Well I had to cancel my trip because I lost my job and I needed the money back The resort refunded me right away but said I had to go through InterMundial to refund the flight I ve been trying to get in contact with this agency for over a month having to repeatedly email them but no one will contact me This is ridiculous and unprofessional Please think twice about buying travel insurance through this company because they will do everything they can to avoid paying you if you need a refund I m so angry because I paid extra for this insurance to ensure that I can get my money back but they don t want to refund MY OWN MONEY and that feels like a scam

This company is a SCAM Run as far away as you can I purchased coverage for my families trip to Cancun through the hotel s website to cover 5 of us We we re meeting other family for a week of fun in Mexico Unfortunately I had to cancel due to my brother being diagnosed with a brain tumor the week before we were going to leave This was August 2022 I cancelled the trip immediately completed all steps the hotel required and sent all the information to InterMundial My brother passed in September and I still have no response to my claim I have emailed at least a dozen times and all I ve ever received is a generic response that the medical team is looking into my claim I paid 250 each for the insurance and 10 000 overall for the trip Not only do I have to deal with the loss if my only sibling but also lost all my money when it was supposed to be covered This is an AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL company DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY FIND COVERAGE SOMEWHERE ELSE OR YOU LL BE SO SORRY

Submitted our claim with all necessary forms and signatures in January 2023 Finally InterMundial IM processed that claim to another insurance company ARAG in March We were never given an ARAG contact or claim number We have not been contacted by ARAG IM will not respond to our e-mail requests IM insurance claims Dead Letter Office IM is not an insurer they are just a broker that does not follow-up on claims or actually pay them N de p liza 55-0786489 Here is the last correspondence from IM on March1 2023 Dear David I am writing in relation to your case 01774062 to inform you that the InterMundial Claims Team has finished studying the documentation provided As of today we have forwarded the complete file for resolution to ARAG which is the Insurance Company with whom your policy 55-0786489 brokered by InterMundial is contracted Once all the procedures have been completed by ARAG they will send you or we will send you the resolution and in the corresponding case the details of the payment of the indemnity InterMundial has taken all the necessary steps to ensure the successful completion of your case RegardsJos ManuelDepartamento de SiniestrosClaims Department To-date we have 1 contact from IM after our 1st posting on Trust Pilot Reply from InterMundial Seguros de viaje5 days ago Please we need you to provide the requested information Without your case number we cannot give you an answer We immediately provided the case number NO FURTHER CONTACT FROM IM THEREAFTER DO NOT PURCHASE INTERMUNDIAL INSURANCE

NO lo recomendio para nada el ultimo dia de mi viaje antes de volar perdi las llaves de casa y del coche mientras que desayunaba de camino al aeropuerto Intento abrir un siniestro a traves de la app pero nada se ajusta a mi caso La abro como perdida de documentacion y lo primero que hacen al contestarme que no cubre acto seguido cuando les corriges de que se estan confundiendo rectifican y me dicen que ponga la incidencia como perdida de equipaje definitiva despues de estar en estudio aportando toda la documentacion me contentestan otra vez que no cubre cuando en mi poliza lo especifica claramente Total un enga o y una perdida de tiempo---------------------------Respuesta Que desgracia por Dios No sabeis ni leer Que equipaje en ningun momento he perdido mi equipaje Las llaves que las tenia YO en mi mano mientras que desayunaba Como veis otra prueba mas para NO contratar nada con ellos I DO NOT recommend it at all the last day of my trip before flying I lost my house and car keys while having breakfast on the way to the airport I try to open a claim through the app but nothing fits my case I open it as loss of documentation and the first thing they do is answer me that it does not cover immediately after when you correct them that they are getting confused they rectify and tell me to put the incident as definitive loss of luggage after being in the study providing all the documentation They tell me again that it does not cover when my policy clearly specifies it A total scam and a waste of time ---------------------------Answer Goodness You don t even know how to read What luggage At no time have I lost my luggage The keys that I had in my hand while having breakfast As you can see another test to NOT contract anything with them
