My moving experience

International Van Lines asked me for my honest feedback the pros and cons of their moving services the good and the bad so here we go The pros Internation Van Lines is a carrier They own operate and manage trucks warehouses and crews That s why I chose them Their prices were in the middle of others so that seemed fair to me since I was getting estimates that were all over the place My sales agent Vincent was great He was always quick to answer questions and reply to emails even on weekends when he was not working My moving date was set up quickly and everything went according to our discussions The cons They were an hour late on the pickup date without notice I was a little annoyed by that but okay no biggie One of their movers packed something in a box that was supposed to come on the plane with me we figured it out They accept credit cards for only a portion of the move so I had to run to the bank and get a check They did tell me in advance so I can t be mad Overall I had a good experience and minus the few hiccups everything worked out which is why I m leaving them a good review I am a business owner and understand little things can pop up here and there so it s all good I would use them again and I would recommend them Overall everything went well with the move

I had a great experience with IVL The movers did a good job packing and securing all of my stuff I also required storage for a while the cost was good and service quality I would use them again

Overall the move went well We had a minor hiccup on pickup The moving crew showed up an hour or so late which is my only critic Other than that the guys worked their butts off in the heat and packed very well All went good on the delivery end so they get a good review from me

IVL sent me an email asking for a detailed review of my experience so here we go They had requested to mention the pros and cons of using their service to understand where they need to improve That was pretty cool because most companies look for positive reviews This is a positive review but I will share where they could have improved Pros The move cost was reasonable compared to others of the same caliber My sales rep Alex was attentive to my needs polite and always available He managed to get everything scheduled in a short amount of time and the movers showed up in a nice truck and dressed professionally They worked hard packed everything in a timely manner and were courteous of our time and situation The delivery also went well with no significant issues Cons The moving team needed to arrive earlier for the pickup I didn t have an issue with it but no one called to say they would be late so we waited around no biggie Secondly their payment requirements are a bit rough They accept credit cards for part of the move but the balance must be paid in the form of a cashier check check or cash It was a little inconvenient but in their defense they warned me ahead of time The outcome of the move was great and they got five starts because everything went well and they conducted themselves well I would use them again and recommend them to anyone moving out of state

My experience with IVL was great They provided me with the moving service that they sold me on and was i not concerned I felt like I was in good hands during the process of the move I received all my stuff and had no issues with damages or missing items I would work with them again if I had to

I hired IVl for a move from NY to CA It was for a two-bedroom home which required packing loading and shipping Their cost was reasonable the movers were on time and they performed well They made the process easy for my family and we had no hiccups or delays in service I would use them again

I ve used movers before I ve learned from my mistakes First don t hire a moving broker There s no need for it and most of the time they don t care about you your move or problems that occur during your move We chose IVL based on factors like years in business reputation and online reviews I spent a few weeks researching companies and felt most comfortable with them because they met our moving dates and needs My relocation representative Justin and my customer service agent Karin were also another reason I chose IVL They were good at explaining things and giving me the worst-case scenario I was looking for The packers did a fantastic job and the driver Mike was also excellent I found them friendly courteous and easy to work with The only downside to my experience with IVL was the payment process They accept credit cards for a portion of the move but I needed to give them a check upon delivery of my stuff It was a little annoying but we got it done and all is well IVL seems like a good company and I would 100 contact them again if I ever move out of state
