SCAM - Avoid them at all costs
We hired a car from this company and are regretting it First off they are not based in the terminal but a 10-15 minute walk away The car we hired was all good and we had no issues with the car itself We hired it for 23 days When we returned the car during office hours the office was closed We left the keys in the key drop box and then walked back to the airport 2 weeks later I noticed a charge of 100 Eur from my credit card No communication about this was ever sent out by the company I queried the company about this and had no response After raising it with the credit card company Panek contacted me to say it was for a dirty car The provided 4 photos First photo showed the front where there were some bugs around the number plate as you would expect driving around for 3 weeks The next 2 photos showed some minor dirt marks around the back mud guards The fourth photo showed the rear rubber mat which had one or two small pieces of dirt on it even though there were only 2 of us and never used the rear The invoice they send was simply a piece of paper saying Charge for dirty car - 100 EUR If you look at their contract they charge 40 EUR per hour of cleaning the car up to 200 Eur This seems like a term they use in order to charge customers an extortionate amount extra By looking at the number of people being stung by this its clearly an unavoidable charge this company use to extract more money out of customers I never had any of this with any of the other car hire companies based at Bratislava or anywhere else in the world for that matter and would strongly advise to avoid this company or face the additional 100 to 200 Eur they will charge you afterwards As a final note their cars are all Polish registered Unlike the other local companies which provides the motorway tax with the car as default PANEK expects you to buy your own So keep in mind these 2 additional charges if you still think about using them They don t work out as cheap as they want you to believe

Avoid PANEK and run away from this
Avoid PANEK and run away from this company In my opinion this company main business seems are not rental but cheating When ordering a car rental it was not written anywhere that you will have to pay an additional fee of 100-200 EUR for departure to neighbor European Union countries We return car after working hours drop the keys On Monday we receive damage photo with scratch and 300 Eur charge Photo taken this way that you can t see from what car it is even color of the car you can t recognize Even more car was with different mileage then we drop it Somebody else was driving it after us and maybe made scratch The car was in smoker s hands before smells terrific inside The windows were covered with layer of fat from inside Very horrible company I regret I didn t read google reviews before reservation It s already month after rental and we still don t have invoice for company Car hire cost 51 87 Eur and then 70 for cross border 300 for fictional scratch Where the main business incomes Avoid them

Despite an assurance before travelling of car availability company advised me that there was nothing available 4 minutes before flight departure Arrived in Slovakia airport with young kids at midnight to no car and no service agents Diabolical service - will never use

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY If I could give 0 I would No desk at the airport but no one bothers to tell you that when you book I didn t have a credit card so got charged extra 50 to be able to have the car and take 100 deposit on my debit card The day after I returned the car with 300km more in the tank than what I got on collection they took the deposit off my card instead of returning it I tried to contact the company via email WhatsApp and phone but they don t reply and no explanation offered to why my deposit wasn t refunded back It cost me 200 to rent the car for 2 days Could have taken a taxi for that price Shame I didn t read all these reviews before renting from them Don t make the same mistake

Very bad experience after i paid for
Very bad experience When i came to Bratislava airport guy from rental company Panek said they not accepting debit cards to do my deposit but we can sort it out for additional 100 Guy from this company just tried to use that i don t have any other option at night time as i arrived at 23 30pm i booked Taxi instead Im not sure if this is even legal because their therms and conditions saying they are accepting debit and credit cards

Stay away from this company
I have booked a middle prided car with Panek Slovakia almost 6 weeks in advance through booking com - this was straight forward and I have received booking confirmation Then these jokers phoned me less than 48 hour before I was supposed to pick the car up at Bratislava airport - they told me that they are fully booked and they don t have a car for me and that I should find an alternative option myself My advice is stay well away from them - this is not how a serious company should treat their customers

Stay as far away as possible from these thieves
I ordered a car from this company after arriving I had to contact the rental company by phone because they were not in the terminal building as advertised on the internet An employee of this company came to pick me up after about ten minutes and took me to their office where he signed a contract with me I paid him a deposit and we agreed on the date and time of returning the car Everything seemed to be fine but when I returned the car exactly on the agreed date no one was at the rental company and they did not answer my phone I parked the car returned the keys to their box After a few hours someone checked the car found that everything was fine and returned my entire deposit What was my surprise when I checked my account after a few days and this company had withdrawn 100 euros from my credit card 48 hours after returning the car without any notification or contact me I immediately tried to contact this company but to no avail I have never been able to contact them again in the last 15 days and I have tried calling writing via WhatsApp and also emailing them To my detriment I only read reviews after this experience and found out that they try similar practices on most foreign clients I will never use their services again I often fly to different destinations and rent cars from different companies but I have never encountered something so disgusting from a rental company

This is a scam company
This is a scam company stay away They have charged us unauthorised 450 euros charge When we tried contacting them they blocked our number and didn t reply to any emails We returned the car in perfect condition with full tank We have had no explanation and on top of the 450 euros they also retained the full deposit They should be stopped

They will steal your deposit
1 star is too manyJust returned back from Slovakia having rented a car from Panek First thing they advertise themselves at the airport terminal they are not Secondly they had not been at the office when we arrived waiting in the cold no one responded to the number advertised at the door Thirdly we finally got the key once being rushed to sign papers etc car was absolutely fine although strange to be tracked by an Apple AirTag the entirety of the rental Finally no one at the office again on drop off made sure clean was spotless and filled with fuel with evidencing photos etc Found they just took 100 from the 400 holding without any explanation no response to emails etc I will be reporting this as fraud but everyone should avoid alternatives I have used never had problems in Bratislava They will rob you
