Upgrade Issues
I recently did a contract upgrade through the istore to my ISP thinking that they only deal with Apple devices that my phone will be received much faster than it should be although I was wrong My application was accepted and my ISP did upgrade my contract also paid the application fee although it s been 5 solid days till my contract had been successful approved and I have still not received my device Emails being continuously ignoredFalse tracking parcel numbersI did phone istore and they are currently sending my device through to me now which I will receive again another days wait as they courier company was having a problem Honestly changed my views towards the istore Please beware when upgrading through the Istore

iStore Gateway - Horrendous Service Considering it is a Premium Brand at a Premium Price
iStore GatewayI have to say for a premium brand at premium prices the service we received on Saturday afternoon was FAR from premium It took almost 2 5 hours just to purchase a new laptop from them The first sales lady I believe her name was Letitia who helped us got everything done and approved and sorted in the first half an hour she then left as it was the end of her shift although all that was left to do was fingerprints and to pay the R250 initiation fee We were then handed over to another lady a iStore technician who s operator ID on the slip is PriMoo who then continued with what should have been a simple loading of Fingerprints and paying the initiation fee but turned into a nightmare of a 2 hour delay After something going wrong and then having to reload everything a few times we were then told about 2 hours into the whole thing that we would need to come back the next day when the first lady we were dealing with was back I quickly explained that was not going to happen as we had been there for almost 2 hours and we were told after half an hour everything was sorted and approved I was then told that it was too bad and I would have to come back tomorrow Once I eventually threw my toys out the cot and asked to speak to the most senior person in the store which by the way I didn t get to ever speak to even though asking a few times they came back with a solution and managed to sort it out Oh and then thereafter just to pay the R250 initiation fee took another half an hour because the lady had to keep asking other people for help During this time we watched numerous other people buy numerous things oh and not to mention the gentleman who kept having to step in and assist who also mentioned he didn t want to get involved because it was the end of his shift soon who eventually started to ignore me when I asked questions I am appalled and don t believe that when you are spending exorbitant amounts on a premium high end product this is the service you should receive Oh and just to top it all off the lady repeatedly blamed the machine she was working on for being slow and not working an Apple laptop which she is meant to be selling as the best of the best Honestly really disappointed Something that was meant to be an exciting start to a new opportunity turned into a nightmare and left an exceptionally bitter taste Oh and thanks we then had to pay for the expensive parking because of your staffs incompetence Perhaps look at either another iStore or a different brand to purchase from if you are looking for quality and premium service and expertise

Bad bad service at iStore menlyn
Was in the menlyn store the other day and I stood there for around 20 minutes before someone helped me All the staff and the manager just stood around the one table and they just looked at me as if I wasn t there 4 staff members helped one customer Just avoid the Menlyn store completely The service is so bad there

Poor quality case
I bought an iPhone 13 Pro clear case in April 2023 In September 2023 I realised that it has torn on the side I only had it for 5 months I wrote an email to them On the email it seemed like they were promising they wanted to me to send pictures which I did After that they are saying there is nothing they can do about it I am very disappointed after I paid so much for the clear case

Gateway Istore ridiculous and unhelpful staf
I had the most disappointing experience with the Istore at Gateway I went to the store 3 days and absolutely no assistance The initial sales consultant was assisting 2 customers at the same time Lack of communication when processing my application I was so frustrated I didn t want to continue my purchase and then resulted in purchasing online which was more convenient and efficient Gateway Istore staff needs to go for the full customer service training

The service I recieved at the iStore in Menlyn was very bad They don t give me full information and they expected me to pay for services that I didn t even receive Something that could have been avoided if I had been told everything I really love their products but I am never setting foot at the Menlyn istore

DON T DO SAME DAY DELIVERY
DON T DO SAME DAY DELIVERY ITS A SCAM I bought an IPad online for same day delivery yesterday just before 10am and I didn t receive it Got a call from someone at istore just making sure about my address at 17 14 and to my surprise I still didn t get my delivery This morning we called Istore customer care and I was waiting to speak to an agent and for 31 minutes I had no agent I called again and I was able to speak to Nomsa who told us that same day delivery means you should order before 9am If you order after 9am you will only get your delivery the next day none of that was said online nor on the confirmation email that I received I also received an sms saying my order is out for delivery when I track its with the driver When I call the courier service they only open Monday-Friday and today its Saturday When I ask for refund it will take 10-15 days to reflect when I ask to go fetch it at the nearest Mall it will take 48 hours Gosh Istore this is really ridiculous I ll never buy from them every again I ll stick to Incredible Connections cause this is nonsense I better get this ipad today I m currently chating to Dylan online to let me know when will I receive my order This is rubbish honest

Had the worst experience at istore
Had the worst experience at istore I Langa mall Nelspruit Bongiwe one of the staff is so rude and very cold towards customers She made me run around for proof of res because apparently they do not accept bank statements or the one from municipality Only when they found out I had a car they were willing to assist after making me wait the whole day she called me to ask me security questions of which I answered and she told me I had failed the test so they are declining Bare in my mind she asked me if I was married to some person I don t even know asked me if I had worked at some place I ve never worked at and if I lived at a certain address I didn t know All my answers were no cuz that was the truth but for some reasons she said I failed Fine I then decided to go to mtn since I could see she just didn t want mtn told me they would give me the phone but were struggling to process because Bongiwe blocked me she doesn t deserve to work with people that lady she s chasing away customers

oh terrible Service form iStore Insure
oh terrible left a sour taste in my mouth cause was my 1st time trying Apple products Is it just in the name Never experienced such horrible service They dont have a system so no one knows whose next No one wants to help especially if you the wrong colour aswell every consultant you speak to just tells you to wait for person X to call you I was there for 3 5 hours bellieve it or not And of cause that wasnt enough try istore inSure underwritters pathetic been back and forth for 2 months still not onboarded for insurance I regret anything istore never again
