Avoid itravel - a really dodgy company
itravel act as an agent for a hotel called Bohemia Suites in Gran Canaria though the hotels website doesn t mention this Itravel have taken 100 of the cost but refuse to allow me to book seats until just before I travel when the seats I need will not be available Their customer service is none existent as I am being continually ignored The hotel has asked them to cancel the booking but this has also been met with silence I suspect that itravel will be out of business by the time my trip comes around Check out their feedback and avoid

Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful My flight was cancelled and there was no communication from the company and no response to my emails After 4 months and complaints via the other companies involved they finally agreed to send the refund on 8th Jan 8th Jan came and went and still no refund I keep being told it s being followed up but after 6 months I still don t have my money back and they re now ignoring my emails Annoyingly I didn t even choose to book with them they just provided the service that my hotel used to offer a package holiday

Don t book with them
This company was recommends by a friend they booed our whole tour with the worst locations for hotels and some cities Went to Vietnam instead of seeing the beauty of the country Mohammed booked us in Hoi Chi Min a hustle and bustle city Terrible advice and service never booking again

No refund in over one year
No refund in over one year We spent a significant amount of money with iTravel to go to the Maldives and stay at VARU by Atmosphere in December 2022 A few minor issues before departure as our flights had to be rebooked twice so they offered us an airport lounge voucher which didn t arrive in time When we arrived at Male they seemed surprised to see us however made a call and transferred us to the resort The resort manager met us and informed us that the reservation had been cancelled due to non payment by iTravel They still had space so we had to guarantee around 6000 USD on our credit card in case it was paid iTravel promised it was an admin error and that they would immediately pay The resort manager wasn t so sure as iTravel had failed to pay a number of past and present accounts with them and their sister hotel and we were not the only cancelled booking as a result Multiple calls and emails later to everyone in itravel including the CEO until he called me We were promised immediate payment and compensation by way of a spa treatment and business class upgrade on the return leg It wasn t until day 4 when the account was settled and then a back and forth via what s app with the CEO for the remainder of the holiday to make sure the promised upgrade was handled It wasn t so we were offered compensation to the same value I naturally assumed this would be handled quickly It was not After many months of emailing we received a formal document confirming a refund of 2000 Euros to be settled on 3rd July 2023 This still hasn t been paid and not a single email has been answered since then The only reason this review gets 2 stars is because the CEO maintained sporadic contact with me promising on multiple occasions it would be paid It is still not clear to me whether they EVER intend to pay or not I have no option but to now start a legal process By reading the other reviews here this seems like a common problem including feedback from former employees on Kununu In my opinion this company needs to be completely avoided In summary they ruined an amazing experience in a beautiful hotel and resort
