IXL is trash it dosen t help in your learning at all The app just makes me crazy and sets my brains onto fire The app has an unfair earn of points For example it gives me two points for answering right question and takes away 6 points for one wrong question It also pays people for a good review It is such a awful game Never ever download it it is rubbish The worst game ever its also my friends opinion A RUBBISH GAME

the problems with ixl

this whole website is absolute torture unless you are a pro at the skill you are currently doing there are many cursed things including 1 the fact that you lose score more that you gain at a certain point 2 the time counter which is used to count how long you have had to struggle with the questions and 3 the fact that you can t retry problems that you failed please allow people to retry the problems

IXL is torture for children The grading system makes absolutely no sense A correct answer gives you 1-2 points an incorrect one takes away 10-15 points That isn t even done in colleges and universities but we re doing it to elementary students We are crushing their spirits You can actually watch their interest in learning smothered in real time This system must change

ixl had to be one of the most traumatizing experiences i went through as a developing child i was struggling with math and my neighbor recommended my mom i use ixl when i told my neighbor s daughters of the occurrence they sobbed with me as they new another soldier had fallen taken too soon from this cruel unforgiving world it made me reach one of the lowest lows in my life and i genuinely would not wish this god forsaken website upon anyone this has to be a modernized torture method for the young developing mind this thing this website whatever you call it is inhumane and degrading i hope ixl shuts down and i never have to experience again otherwise i ll be driven into sewer slide

Horrible application do not install

With my experience using Ixl I would advise everyone reading this to use another application e g Khan academy My complaints are raises stress in children s feeble minds to harsh gender related questions Bad explanations customer service is against you if you don t have yearly subscription I hope ixl is looking at this right now I hope you are happy with your disgraceful actions and I hope you go out of business and lose all of your dirty made money

Absolutely rubbish

Absolutely rubbish Do not waste your money time on this I got a question wrong and moved from 98 to 92 there have been worse instances such as when I got a question wrong and moved about 15 points backward yet when I get one RIGHT I move 1-3 point forward It makes students feel demoralized and does not help with their math English skills Awful experience and all it does it make me hate maths more Unfortunately I have to use it for school - but if you re a teacher or a parent don t bother buying it

Everything is just awful

The questions they give on certain topics often are wrong and when it tells you what was wrong it will tell you the same things over and over again despite it being incorrect Also in order to complete one topic you have to get 100 points however it barely gives you any points for getting a question correct and will heavily punish you for getting questions wrong Correct answers give you 2 points and wrong ansers take away 10-12 points You have to get 5-6 questions right just to get back to where you were The system is poorly thought out and optimized the layout can be extremely confusing and it barely helps with the learning process I feel bad for any student who is forced to use this waste of computer resources 0 10 never use this program ever

Complete trash and rubbish

I ve used it and its complete trash First of all the point system is negative as if you answer a question correctly you gain 5 points but if you do it incorrectly you loose 10 points Don t get me started on the challenge zone A challenge should be OPTIONAL In the challenge zone you only get 1 point per correct question and if you get a question incorrect you loose around 5 points
