Please do not use Jet2 Insurance dreadfull company I ve finally received my reduced air fare after 12 months of waiting for a part refund of my airfare My claim was straight forward and it didn t matter Never use Jet2 ever again

REAL DANGER TO LIFE
DANGER TO LIFE Do not buy jet 2 insurance if you are going to Turkey My sister is there at the moment with her daughter Who is now intensive care following a stroke Insurance have not been helpfull My sister has had to pay all medical costs upfront over the last week 20 000 plus still ongoing harrassed every day for more money Thank god she is able to pay Without paying upfront they will not treat you Her daughter would not be here now DO NOT BUY JET2 INSURANCE IF TRAVELING TO TURKEY In TURKEY they operate a pay now or no treatment policy

Hidden extras I paid 15 for a policy booked along with a flight Two days later I received an email asking for a medical declaration I completed the declaration and then was asked for an additional 23 otherwise my policy in essence was invalid Medical details and the cost should be provided and presented up front when the policy is first taken out Typical Jet2 with the hidden extras Avoid

Insurance Doubled within 14 days
I would like to warn people about Jet2 Insurance If you decide to take their Travel Insurance policy when you book a holiday They will then send you a medical screening form If you declare any health concerns however minor you will have to pay an additional premium In my case this additional premium was an extra 50 You would be better to find independent insurance

Do NOT take out Jet2 insurance AXA Insurance
6 days before my husband my 77 year Mum and I were due to go on holiday my father in law died and we had to cancel our trip Mum had taken out Jet2 insurance underwritten by AXA and so approached them with 15 pages of evidence to see if she would be entitled to claim back at least some of the cost of the holiday The answer to this was no as this type of bereavement wasn t on the list She is now over 1 900 out of pocket and even called back a second time to check she hadn t got it wrong but they are steadfast in their refusal to deviate from the list Heaven forbid the wrong member of the family should die Appalling rigid policies and we would urge anyone booking with Jet2 NOT to take out their insurance

Do Not use Axa
This insurance company is a joke they take your money and when you unfortunately fall ill they don t want to pay out I unfortunately had a very bad stomach bug which lasted over 7 days that started the day before I was due to fly to Iceland as a surprise 60th birthday gift I submitted my completed form the Dr had to sign at a cost of 45 to me back in March and today I called them and they need my last 2 year medical history What a joke I will be taking this further I will not be using Jet2 again for holidays if they back this kind of insurance company

Thank you Jet 2 After taking my money for a Toyota Corolla hire car or similar and fobbing me off with a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon behemoth so similar to a Corolla and ideal for a 75 year old couple NOT meaning my holiday was very underwhelming Then taking my money for reserved seats and not providing them Then after c three months of emails full of your excuses I finally receive 11 00 in compensation for my trauma and disappointment Gee thanks Caveat emptor

Don t buy Jet2 insurance It s pointlessNot only do you get ignored by the insurance company but then by jet2 customer service Rebecca Wilkinson She commented on a previous review on trust pilot said she would look into it Not had any correspondence since Now 500 out of pocket and don t have any hope in even getting a response never mind remuneration AVOID AT ALL COSTS 6th June 2022 update still only an cut and paste standard email to say they are looking into claim SHOCKING level of customer service

Jet2 Customer Care Does not exist
Delayed over 6hrs flight back to Uk in October Not sure how Jet2 Customer Service operates There appears to be no Rhyme of Reason Application sent for Delay Claim Despite asking many questions all we get is Generic Emails in reply I am sure I will get a generic email back in reply to this posting We are just a reference number in their system One positive result We will never ever book with Jet2 again

Dont fall for the transfer scam
Transfer did not turn up They took somebody else by mistake after an hour of truing to sort No apologies Told to book taxi and they will refund Do not fall for this trick - they have not refunded going around in circles Promised to send a payment link within days which failed to arrive Silence since Also booked special assistance and due to their mess up with seating this got erased and i was refused special assistance that had already been prebooked and was successful on outbound flight Had to put up with hours of agony instead ignored the sunflower lanyard which they gave us outbound Always used Jet2 but this has really put me off okay mistakes happen but its the aftercare customer service thats really let them down
