when I wanted help with an item the young female members of staff were stood in a cluster with a male member of staff manager They were laughing and giggling and talking about an old member of staff I didn t bother to interrupt them Around the corner saw another lady whom I asked for help and she was kindness itself even showed me a matching scarf which was in the sale I mentioned the attitude of the other staff and what I had heard and she just said oh dear but her eyes were filling up so I am guessing it was about her I tell you she was lovely and helpful and as an older person myself I would rather deal with a person like her than young flibbertigibbets who stand around I am not impressed with Johnstons if this is how they treat their staff

Visited Johnstons of Elgin Sale today bought a cashmere crew neck jumper Sale sticker reads OFFER PRICE 95 Peeled off the label to reveal the original price which was 95 Not really a Sale after all Johnstons used to have a reputation for quality and Sale bargains however this is clearly sharp practice I ve kept the label as proof if Johnstons wish to comment
