I purchased a car from Ringways ford in Leeds and had the finance arranged by them through Kia finance From the day of collection I noticed a few issues with the vehicle which I reported straight to Ringways and Kia finance I was told to get the car booked into the dealership as they only have one attempt to rectify and repair the problems on the car The problem consisted of the start stop not working A noise from the engine and a damp smell coming from the boot They had the car for a few days in that Time they rectified the damp the noise on the engine was to be a characteristic of the vehicle and the start stop had the battery recharged I collected the vehicle and drove around 50 miles that day in the motorway but unfortunately the start stop didn t even function the once I gave it the benefit of the doubt at that point But as usage of the vehicle went on the start stop still didn t operate I got in touch with the dealership Kia finance and I agreed to get the car booked back in and have the issue checked The car went back in for an overnight booking again I was told the battery had been recharged and the start stop was working Got the car back the following day and driven again for around 20 miles that day but as before it didn t active I started the complain back and Kia finance reopened my original complaint I left it with them hoping I would hear something positive but I didn t hear anything I then phoned to get an update and was told my complaints handler would contact me and arrange an inspection on my vehicle which I agreed and again left it with Kia finance Another few weeks passed and I made a further contact to be told the complaints handler would contact me but unfortunately no contact has been made with me At this point I am very angry at the fact I have a vehicle which from day one is not fit for purpose and have the right for rejection but no one contacts me plus I am paying a good monthly figure without delay each month but have a vehicle that doesn t function how it should I don t think this is acceptable I m sure if I stopped paying you you would be straight on the phone Please take this complaint seriously as I am not happy at all Thank you

The worst customer service ever Don t respond to emails or calls or logical arguments want bank statements instead of receipts to refund out of pocket expenses associated with faulty vehicle - totally unnecessary One of the worst customer service experiences ever

I am very disappointed with kia
I am very disappointed with kia finance first I just got new car from Perry s and Perry s told me the paid settlement I just rang kia finance the woman was very rude no helpful at all I had to pay 277 70 27 08 2021 for the car I don t own I am frustrated disappointed upset tired I am working at NHS night I feel like I don t have a break and I don t velvet enjoy this new car anymore when this is going to end please lord help me POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I need help Please refund my money 277 70

One star as zero isn t an option
One star as zero isn t an option Worst experience I have ever had Bought a brand new Kia Sportage GT S Line last July Beginning of Oct 3 5 months and 5500 miles in car stopped Engine failure New part and subsequent engine build required No car for 2 months Kia assist had nothing good to say about Kia and could not help me Had to get car to garage myself Logged complaint and ended up with Cameron as my complaint handler Basically by the time anything was done the car was fixed and so I was told nothing Cameron could do and I had to have the car back May 7 months since new and 11100 miles on the clock Car stops in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the road no lights nothing Waited 9 hours Kia assist again had nothing good to say about Kia cars Kia assist couldn t get me home as it was a bank holiday and so I had to make my own way 200 miles with all my stuff at my own expense whilst my car was relayed back 2 days later I called to find out where my car was Car again same apparently modified part that wouldn t fail again failed and needed the same as it did previously Another 2 months no car Called Cameron spoke to Adam it s a complaint resurrection much easier Cameron would call me 2 weeks later I called Cameron spoke to a woman that apparently sits opposite him He called me back explained very straight forward this time get the V5 and keys and be ready to return to dealership We ll get it investigated and as it s same part be easy to resolve 2 weeks later I called again no response from Cameron as he was on the phone according to John Called again 2 weeks later apparently still waiting for the investigator Then the dealership called me to say after 2 months car fixed Called Cameron spoke to Harry who informed me that as it s been fixed nothing they can do as cannot be rejected Demanded Cameron call me back It s been 2 weeks no response In summary Kia do not give a damn about your safely all they care is that they get your money They sell cars that are unsafe and not fit for purpose They offer no assistance apology or compensation but are skillful at avoidance tactics to ensure the car gets fixed You may be harmed in said car as it just stops with no warning but they have their money and do not care I ended up on anti depressants and such bad anxiety through this that I was unable to leave the house for 2 months Fortunately I had no car anyway Appalling treatment and I m sorry but 32 000 is not a small amount of money I have taken this to a solicitor and am considering the press If you have an issue I would request Harry John or Adam as at least they answer the phone Cameron clearly has a disregard and lack of respect for anyone s safety

Kia Finance charge excessive admin charges
I have just received my 2nd admin charge for getting fines passed on by Kia Finance to myself The first was a 15 admin fee and the second 30 To my mind this is treating the customer with utter contempt Kia are essentially saying they can charge what they want and you as the customer can t do an awful lot about it save not renewing the contract which I will not be doing It is simple profiteering

Made things difficult for final payment of car
We needed a signed purchase order letter with information to release the funds from our bank to pay off our car Kept being bounced between Kia and Kia finance They just kept ignoring our request sending us their chaps payment and telling us it was Kia we needed the info from Eventually they said they could send original paperwork which would take 28 days which wasn t any good anyhow They kept adding default charges as this dragged on with them not providing us with what we requested I sent email traffic to their customer relations email for help but they didn t reply I wouldn t deal with Kia or Kia Finance after this

Unnecessary stress following a bereavement
Absolutely appalling customer service My dad died on the 24th August we returned his car on 29th august and settled the outstanding finance as we thought this less stressful than waiting for everything to drag on through probate How wrong we were We continued to get letter after letter about the outstanding amount owed with charges being added daily The garage have confirmed that they settled the account with Kia finance on the 11th September yet the letters still came We had an e-mail from Kia finance themselves on 3rd October saying they had found the payment in their suspense account and it would be settled and confirmation sent And yet today I receive a letter from Kia finance addressed to the executors of dads estate so they know he has died demanding immediate payment or further action will be taken It is still less than 2 months since dad died and this is unnecessary stress and upset for us particularly as it has all been settled

Slow to refund
I bought a Kia Stonic in May this year that was faulty so I rejected the car in October I have spent the last month trying to get my refund from Kia finance who seem to have a variety of excuses I have now received a very small fraction of what is owed Update It s now a new year and I m still waiting for my refund No one can answer me why it has not been paid
