Disappointing customer service

Disappointing customer service but could have been a 5-star experience if communication was better I ordered wooden boxes from King of Crates with their website stating a delivery time of 5 to 7 working days By day 6 I hadn t received any dispatch notifications so I contacted customer service for an update I received a vague response from Sophie saying it might ship within the next day or two Four days later on working day 10 I followed up again but received no response I chased them once more on working day 12 and still got no reply After waiting for another four days I sent a final email on day 14 threatening to contact my bank for a refund if I didn t hear back The next day day 15 I finally received a dispatch notification and the boxes arrived two days later via DPD After checking Trustpilot I found that long delays are a common issue with many reviews mentioning delivery times of up to 3 weeks If King of Crates could either update their website with an accurate dispatch timeframe or respond to customer inquiries more effectively they d likely receive better reviews Had I known the wait would be 3 weeks I would have been more patient but the lack of communication made the experience frustrating

Please please don t buy from this company I purchased 16 crates for my daughters wedding back in the Summer only 4 arrived I tried for months to get a refund on the missing Crates emailing several times A couple of times I got a reply to say they would refund however received nothing I tracked the missing crates myself in the end only to find they had been returned to sender which I told them however still NO refund

Can t get my crates or a response

I ordered nearly 300 worth of product on 2 January The promised 4-7 working day delivery deadline passed and the crates did not arrive Their website said they were still in the warehouse Since then I have tried every way possible to contact them They answer the phone and hang up the online chat just tells you it s proceessed your email and apart from some very vague email responses they don t really answer emails I am now going to have to get credit card to refund Shame as products look good but they are clearly not trustworthy

Horrendous company do not recommend

Horrendous company didn t receive my order no explanation provided other than there is a minor delay and no offer of a refund or satisfactory solution - its currently with the bank who are trying to recover my monies Failing that I ll take legal action Such a shame as the products themselves look great on the website and would ve been perfect for our business

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company - I ordered on 2 Jan against an estimated lead tie of 4-7 days Since mid Jan I have chased on at least 7 occasions to be told that my itmes would be dispatched this week or next Today I informed them not to bother and to cancel my order and that I had sought a refund from my bank and as if by magic within 3 hours they were showing as dispatched So now I will have another fight on my hands returning goods that are too late for what I need

We are now looking at taking legal action We have been chasing them since late February 2025 for a refund on items that were never shipped so we cancelled the order We are still waiting for the refund this must be a scam

They have just stolen my money

They have just stolen my money I don t believe they even have any crates Seems from the reviews previously they open up the order books take the money and then restructure the business taking everybody s money
