Patrick saves the loss of a customer
My 80 yr old parent that is new to a smart phone was having difficulty accessing their self serve account We d been trying to assist and were unsuccessful A message continued to say linked to another email Apr 13 my parent spoke with a polite customer service rep via telephone and was advised they couldnt speak to them because their birth year they provided was wrong They were instructed to go to a store and provide proof of who they were We ended up at a store on Danforth Ave and the rep there spent so much time and effort trying to assist The only thing they could do was document confirmation of my parent s attendance info After taking advantage of some of Koodos great offers we had to leave and await yet another call back the next day Apr 14 my parent was extremely upset after being told again the rep would not assist and that they had gone to the wrong store and needed to go to a corporate store Koodo should consider other means of verifying senior customers who may forget a security code and are unable to physically go on transit let alone travel to a corporate store It was clear Koodo had failed this fraile senior and I was adamant about finding out how to cancel their Koodo service yesterday I shared my utter disappointment with that great customer service rep at the retail store Unbenounced to myself while Patrick was resolving my matter he also contacted the necessary department that would resolve my parent s issue as well and with the utmost consideration and regard Kudos to you Patrick and Sandra who was on your help line for going above and beyond With great success we were able to access my parent s account and finally have resolution to the errors that caused the chaos Customer service is namely that For security reasons it s understandable the level of security placed on the customer s privacy however its so ironic that same customer can receive a call from Koodo offering tablets and phones without any problem KOODO consider adding other ways that seniors can verify their accounts Thank you Patrick for all that you do every day all day

I had the most amazing experience with Claire My Koodo bill was through the roof because of a cruise I went on recently but the representative at the store I went to failed to let me no the details of the Easy Roaming plan The person I spoke to at the Koodo store said the Easy Roaming plan would be perfect because I was going to the United States and than travelling internationally to the Bahamas As far as I knew I was doing great with this plan because I knew roaming charges were insane especially on a ship I talked on the phone when I was on the ship a few times for quite a while thinking it was ok because I had purchased this plan Little did I know until the bill came in and I talked to a Koodo Representative Walter who was amazing that on a cruise ship you pay 7 00 a minute while talking Honestly if I knew that I would have left my phone at home but it was my first trip away from my children and I had to talk with them Walter was great but could not help me with the bill in the way I needed him to Walter did what he could do in his position I than spoke with Rosa Maria who was not so willing to work with me and her temperament was not like Walters at all When I asked to speak with someone higher than herself Rosa said an application will be made on my behalf to Management and they will be getting back to me within 24-48 hrs I waited nearly two weeks for someone to call until I called back today I spoke with Samy who was pleasant and than I spoke with Claire who made my day and took care of my issue right away The stress of this bill had been weighing on me for almost two weeks and to have someone who cares and listens was really important and I thank Claire for that a thousand times over I am staying with Koodo because of the service Claire provided

Koodo for Life
I have been a koodo customer for over 10 years now Probably since they started up in Canada Their customer service has always been amazing I ve been on a monthly plan with them for years have gone through 7 different phones Had no issues and helpful service connecting to the new phones etc I once had an issue when I was charged roaming over the border when I hadn t actually crossed the border in Niagara They cleared the mistake up immediately with no hassles or accusations like some companies try They run on the Telus network which works great I recently switched my son s prepaid Rogers plan to Koodo after a year of not ever being able to contact him in an emergency Soon as I switched I have had no issues He can call me I can call him No problem The great thing about koodos prepaid and monthly plans is that they r both Canada wide And their booster minutes do not expire No long distance fees to worry about I have reffered many many friends and family to Koodo from all over Ontario Everyone has had nothing but good things to say I highly recommend them to everyone

Outstanding customer service since 2016
Outstanding customer service and I have been with them since 2016 Their prepaid service includes booster add-ons you can purchase for data and calls if you are on their limited 15 plan which never expire They often have specials on their Data boosters where you get triple the amount of Data for the usual cost I decided to buy a new phone and monthly plan with them this week and called to see if they could transfer my existing prepaid plans boosters to my wife s prepaid plan as I am switching to monthly and they graciously did so over the phone I got the rep to call be back by typing in their chat bot I need to talk to a rep The rep called me back within 10 minutes I now have a 12 gig month with unlimited texting and Canada wide calling for 50 month plus the 15 tab for two years to pay fully for a brand new Samsung S20FE 5G phone Very pleased with Koodo s service I once had a glitch with changing my prepaid plan online and had to again talk with a rep who took the time needed to fix things up which was quite complicated and took a while however everything was ironed out properly

I was already a satisfied customer with Koodo Mobile for about a year However I could never afford to buy an android phone because my 25 00 plan would rise to 45 00 a month A month ago I was checking to see if there were any new options and I came across a special promotion I could buy a refurbished a20 Samsung Galaxy for 0 down The phone was originally 250 00 KOODO took off 177 00 and stated I could pay off the other 73 00 at 3 00 month for 24 months In the promotion I could also sign up for a 30 00 plan with the same benefits I already had Not 45 00 This was perfect for me what a great deal I have had my phone now for about a month and am loving it No issues at all I can t thank Koodo enough What a great deal and if you can t afford a new phone seriously look at a refurbished one Everything is new and it comes with a 1 year warrantee I am very thankful and impressed Nice going Koodo

5 Stars for a Specific CS Rep
Clearly Koodo customer service is typically awful They direct you away from real people and towards their terrible chat bot But David a Koodo customer service rep from their call center deserves some public appreciation here He walked me through the process of switching plans and getting a new phone without changing my phone number which for some reason isn t possible to do on your own on the Koodo website David was extremely polite and when my phone disconnected he called back to ensure my problem was solved He even helped me avoid the extra cost that Koodo ridiculously charges for having a real customer service rep assist with a transaction Koodo s customer service in general is horrible but David wherever he is should be getting paid more and should be working with a better company
