Koofr is a great alternative for well-known cloud storage providers

Before using Koofr I used Google Drive and OneDrive with SyncBackPro for data backup However in pursuit of better privacy I chose Koofr But when using SyncBackPro Koofr s operation is not perfect and there are many serious problems as follows 1 The upload speed is ridiculously slow with the WebDAV protocol Uploading a single file is ok but if you try to upload 10000 files of the same size using the mirror scan be prepared to scan for several days to complete 2 The numbers of local and cloud files can never match correctly The above problems are basically not problems with Google Drive and OneDrive especially the second point Although I have also tried other software such as FreeFileSync Air Explorer Duplicati RaiDrive etc their effects are not good Just when I was about to give up Koofr as my data backup I happened to be browsing Koofr s blog Koofr s blog mentioned that rclone uses the Koofr API instead of that very bad WebDAV protocol Although I was very unwilling I still reluctantly started to learn rclone It took me about 1-2 weeks to learn the functions required by rclone When using it I found that rclone and Koofr are really perfect together and can solve the above two problems WebDAV can only handle one at a time but rclone can handle dozens at a time I was genuinely shocked when I first saw it Summary---------------------------------------------------------Koofr unlike Google Drive OneDrive or Dropbox lacks extensive third-party app support Often the only option is to connect through WebDAV which can be a nightmare with numerous files Without rclone Koofr is just an ordinary cloud supplier and its performance and speed cannot match well-known brands such as Google Drive and OneDrive etc 5 6 10 But with rclone Koofr s performance and speed have made a qualitative leap plus privacy is undoubtedly the best 10 10 Off-topic----------------------------------------------------------WebDAV login requires caution Regretfully WebDAV settings are hard to configure If you make a mistake multiple times you will be locked for an hour This is a really frustrating feature however it seems like other cloud providers on Google Search are having this issue as well so it is not just for Koofr

I ve tried a lot of cloud solutions until I finally found Koofr I really like their privacy policy and clearness about all data procession and protection Yes there are much cheaper competitors price per GB who are also offering zero-knowledge encryption However I think you can t trust only one provider at all If you want to hide your sensitive data use another open-source application to make them unreadable and then upload them to the cloud or just keep offline copies only It s not difficult for a single cloud entity to make changes in code and steal your private keys at any time But Koofr is about something different They protect your data against loss offer multiple handy features provide endless possibilities for sharing files among family friends and colleagues and finally the most important thing - it s working everywhere and anytime And what are the best Koofr s features in keywords - fast and flawless experience clean and nice UI automatic folder sync sharing fully under control receiving files through the folder link no registration for the 2nd party required integration with other cloud services and MS Office Online remote access to local desktop folders WebDAV support a wide range of paid plans and plenty of helpful tutorials P S Koofr saved me from downloading 40 GB of study materials from my university s Google Drive and reuploading them to personal cloud It took only one single integration with Google Account and all the stuff was performed in the background server-side Thanks guys

I bought a 1TB Plan from Stack Social and it s working great My Only issue is that the UI of the Android App is not that great Also the Preview-only links feature is also not available Application Lock is also not available Rest everything working great I love it
