Guarantee likely worthless Buyer beware
Purchased a reclining 3 piece suite and came with 10 X year guarantee Towards the end of the guarantee period a recliner cable looks to have snapped Contacted LZB for assistance and received a basic looks like spam non business like and poor English email stating We would be able to get parts for this model as it is discontinued now which presumably means they cannot get parts Interestingly parts are readily available online so this appears to be a way of avoiding honouring of the guarantee Don t offer a guarantee for 10 x years if you are not going to honour it I m waiting for an update email before considering options Buyer beware though as the guarantee seems to be potentially worthless Update in response to Lazee response The mechanism manual recliner cable was faulty Interestingly though you declined the warranty claim on the basis of discontinued it appears 3rd party spares are readily available In fact I ve paid for a repair myself which incidentally was half the price of what the Lazee warranty call out charge 50 would have been

Bought a sofa and chair from fabb furniture in November 2023 fault appeared in December still waiting on parts was told parts would be here before Easter now told another 6 to 8 weeks surely you must have spare parts in england lazy boy never again

Why isn t there a zero star rating
Why isn t there a zero star rating Eight months of light use and both LZB chairs are useless Both seats have collapsed Before you ask we are a pair of lightweights coming in at 10 and 12 stone Been waiting four months now for a fix Finally a HUGE parcel arrived with loads of foam cushions and other stuff Apparently their 3rd party technician will be coming to sort both chairs out Now the backs are going but that is it NEVER EVER again will I purchase a LZB product

Would not buy this again
Mum bought a sofa and 2 chairs The chairs are ok bar slight discolouration where you Which has been cleaned and made no difference The 3 seater sofa however has lost any firmness The seating cushions have lost any firmness and you can feel the frame underneath Somebody has been out to see it and says he can t feel the frame and there is nothing wrong with it

SHOCKING I would give this a zero if it was
I would give this a zero if it was possible I bought the Lay Z boy flagship Daytona 3 steamer leather recliner sofa in January finally got delivered on 8th of May This is the WORST sofa I have EVER had in my life It s so impractical absolutely horrendous to sit on I m actually sitting on a garden chair in my living room as I cannot sit on this sofa Contacted ScS and was told that I couldn t return it 3000 with extra insurance Absolutely SHOCKING I want an exchange DO NOT BUY THIS SOFA ScS asked for a review on it and then they chopped out most of what I had said about it I wouldn t shop at ScS again nor buy a Lay Z boy EVER

la-z-boy awful leather sofa
We bought a leather la-z-boy sofa from SCS and it was delivered on 03 05 2023 and was ok for about 6 weeks then the seat I sit on the leather started to crease this continued until it was badly creased On 25 04 2024 before the warranty was up I contacted SCS to make a complaint about the creasing They organised for an company to send a technician to take a look the man said that the springs were ok but that the foam had sagged and this was common problem but that SCS would say that it was not a manufacturing fault He said that even if they were willing to replace the foam it would end up the same after a short time SCS came back to me and said exactly what the technician had said It would appear that SCS and La-z-Boy know there is a problem with the foam that they are using but are choosing to ignore the problem I have contacted the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman but as of yet no reply to the complaint Knowing how Government agencies work I doubt I will get anytwhere Do NOT buy from SCS and never buy a La-z-Boy sofa

Wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing the worse suite ever We bought a Furnico suite now owned by La-Z-Boy and from the day it was delivered you could see something wasn t right Complained and had a replacement but still same complaint of no support on seat It was sold as one of the most supportive upright sofas sold in the store hence why we purchased - there is no central support so tend to sit leaning towards the centre of the sofa twisting your spine not supporting it Worse thing I have ever purchased and not fit for purpose UPDATE this company doesn t care that the sofa design has no base support Complaint sent via my local store which they told me to do and basically La-z-boy do not want to know So now I have two sofas that are no longer usable and all they will offer is a technician to repair something that is a bad design fault NOT a broken part Can t even be bothered to reply to this review This is the first BAD review I have ever had to do

Lazy Boy corner sofa
Had always wanted a Lazy Boy and moved house so decided to splash out - nearly 5000 on a leather corner sofa The very day of delivery 27 7 24 guys put together said they d tested the 2 end electric recliners but I did check one out Son arrived later same day and discovered the other recliners leg support doesn t go right back - you have to push it with your hand to make it go all the way back Rang SCS and techician coming out on Tuesday I m a widow so have only sat in one seat each evening but notice the seat and the arm leather where I sit is sagging already after 3 weeks Is this normal I d had a leather sofa before which was not the best quality and it sagged quickly but not after 3 weeks Guys told me with the heat in the room it would GRADUALLY sag but devastated it s happening already

had a 3 seater sofa from SCS with two
had a 3 seater sofa from SCS with two large seats on it rather than the usual three and chair 3 months ago for close on 4000 one end of the sofa has sunk and pushes you towards the arm rest have been told its normal for that to happen as it is the way it has been sat on at one end how can you sell something as a three seater and say one of the seats has sunk because of the way it was sat on

Not fit for purpose
We purchased our sofa from scs took out the extended warranty to help protect against accidental damage from our pets and children Within months it developed two faults in the seat fabric Warrenty refused and said it was wear and tear Now the recliner mechanism is clunky and the seat is collapsing This is not what I expect from a sofa that cost thousands to buy and is only 2 years old I m absolutely disgusted in SCS LA Z-boy and the warranty company I would have had a better service from IKEA
