Used to be great but then they introduced a monthly fee on a no fee card
Breach of trust - longtime customers do not appreciate a provider totally changing the nature of a product Great product for a long long time until recently - I had been a customer for over a decade Latitude has the perfect right to charge customers fees if it incurs extra costs However they would have been better off shutting down this formerly no fee card if they wanted to start charging fees on it rather than pull the wool on customers after years and years with no fees They should also be required to communicate the change MUCH much more clearly - I only noticed the fee rise in a note on the back of my statement I never received a letter noting this massive change in practice nor a specific email This is unacceptable The fee structure is also a massive churn customers now have to pay 8 mth fees but can get back 10 mth in gift cards if they spend more than 1k mth So the fees are a net cost to Latitude if all customers respond rationally It obviously disadvantages low volume customers while advantaging higher volume customers - if you ignore that hassle factor of having to remember to redeem and use gift cards every month just to save a net 2 mth This is silly business sense - making customers jump thru hoops for very little benefit to them and a likely net cost to your organisation PS they ve also clearly downgraded their customer experience recently with the launch of the new Latitude Service Centre Now users cannot download their transactions - despite this feature long being present under the old website I cannot think of a single benefit of the new site - it has literally no new useful features Customers do not appreciate new services that are unambiguously worse than the old Not worth the hassle to me - I ve shut down my account If other users leave too then management might get the message and stop treating customers poorly Latitude have really gone down hill - avoid

Dishonest as hell
They mail letters out to people demanding money and making threats I m not their customer They took over GE and my account was closed about 10 years ago They have kept my details for all this time and decide to send out a letter demanding money They should be barred from handling people s money and their personal information They are downright dangerous Any financial licensing authority reading this should look into them seriously

WARNING NOTICE REQUIRED
Trustpilot - you have 75 reviews for Latitude Financial ALL THOSE REVIEWS ARE FOR 1 STAR and all for identical complaints - no customer service - outrageous unwarranted fees - and customers being charged fees for cards whose accounts were cancelled years ago Why are you not issuing an AVOID AT ALL COSTS notice in BRIGHT RED letters over this co called financial services company PLEASE RESPOND

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Got an Iphone with them as advertised on Apples website as an interest free loan I m sure it s a typical situation about reading the fine print but after processing the loan they sting you with massive account fees It s definitely not interest free I wish i went with Afterpay

Be aware of this Scammer
We used Latitude for a Harvey Norman purchase and after repaying the amount they never emailed messaged or called us about any account fees However they started charging us 78 11 each month and we only realized this after seven months When we called to close the account they asked for our card details over the phone and took the money unfairly and without reason Even after that they didn t close our account and continued charging us 11 per month Two months later we realized they still hadn t closed the account and were still taking money from us The worst part is that when we applied for a home loan to buy a new house our broker informed us that Latitude had sent an overdue report which led to our bank rejecting our loan pre-approval I am extremely disappointed and this is completely unfair They never communicated with us properly and played with our credit score and future all while taking money from us without reason money they had already taken

Extremely Disappointed with Latitude s Practices
I financed a Harvey Norman purchase through Latitude and thought the process was straightforward After fully repaying the amount I expected the account to be closed and all further fees to stop Instead I was hit with a recurring monthly fee of 11 for seven months without any warning When I called customer service to cancel the account they asked for my card details over the phone and assured me everything would be resolved However the charges continued and to my dismay Latitude even reported an overdue balance an action that later jeopardized my home loan pre-approval This experience has been both frustrating and damaging I urge anyone considering Latitude s services to exercise extreme caution

Literally every other review you read here same same fees fees fees suddenly they decided to charge 10 95 per month account management fee after i payed off my balance handy when youre not told then you re charged to just pay your minimum payments with Bpay the only option 1 95 I could go on and on about my frustration and anger hopefully my review puts at least one person off using them and they loose out for once
