The university is overpriced for the education you receive The tutors do not provide much help with the reading and tasks you have to carry out You don t get any useful personal feedback for your tasks or exams You have to pay for every exam retake for the graduation ceremony for the pictures and to access documents as a former student

Do not go here I did my LPC here and received the worse support For one most calls are outsourced to India so you never actually speak to anyone at the uni or anyone who has any clue what s going on Secondly the teaching is lazy as materials and exams yes exams were re-used from previous years Don t waste your money here as thats all they care about and go to a different uni for post-grad

I should ve read the reviews before I applied I accepted my place then heard NOTHING I had to chase for everything and with 1 week until my start date I still had no timetable Luckily I was able to cancel my place and reading these reviews I m glad I did

Pray you don t get ill

I had to leave the course due to illness but the UoL refuse to withdraw me from the course insisting that Student Finance pay the fees to the end of the course and not to the semester that I left Why should I have to pay tuition fees for the whole course when I left after 3 months I m now unable to do any further study and I still have to pay the loans even though I got nothing for it through no fault of my own

18 Months 3 attempts at an MSC 3 Cancellations

Over an 18 months period I enrolled on 3 separate occasions only to have my course cancelled on all three occasions Cancellations were extremely short notice and the University did not offer any explanation or support Emails were replied to with automated messages with no follow up The phone line is a joke The lack of knowledge from the staff is laughable

Applicants with mitigating circumstances

The applicants with mitigating circumstances are treated terribly I was asked to provide detailed statement about my parent s illness and subsequent passing during my undergrad degree The admissions team wasn t bother to look into my documents and was chasing for a detailed statement way over the line No compassion or even simple common sense I ended up refusing to provide further info and asked to withdraw the app From what I can see here not a bad decision

Similarly to the review below I wish I could rate this uni 0 stars I chose to withdraw from the university after a honestly horrendous couple of months on the MSc Psychology course which was verified by the BPS withdrawing their accreditation I withdrew on the basis that the standard of education sold to me is not what I was in receipt of clearly In addition to late and unfair marking the live lectures just consist of being shoved into breakout rooms When you reach out to lecturers for help you re met with condescending and completely unhelpful responses After a patronising exchange with the psychology team regarding my concerns I was told that I was not eligible for a full fee refund despite my consumer rights and the terms of contract being breached The student finance team got involved and I was reassured that I in fact was eligible for a full refund One member of staff said that they had confirmation in writing and I just needed to formally withdraw in order to be refunded Well I withdrew and a few days later was told that I am actually only eligible to recieve less than a third of what I ve paid The university don t care that a member of THEIR staff has jeopardised my future by incorrectly informing me and have failed to come to a resolution I have complained via the uni and the OIA Please do not waste your time and money with this awful place They don t care about their students they just want your money

I came here to leave a review on the lack of communication and student journey I m not surprised reading all the reviews and bad experiences other students had I m glad the person in admissions never got back to me and didn t go ahead with enrolling me into a course starting this september It was a blessing in disguise but this is probably the worst admissions team I have come across

The worst university experience me or my friends have seen I did a postgrad diploma in law and I received no help or support I emailed and called constantly i would be passed around to different departments on the phone and some of my emails from months ago haven t been answered no matter how much I have chased I have finally had enough and have gone to the complaints department because I want my money back I ve wasted so much money and effort on this university and came out with nothing Life changing amounts of money they just take and don t give
