By far this is the best time tracking software for small law firms considering cost ease of use robust features and seamless integration with QuickBooks I highly recommend LeanLaw

There is very little support for the software Some issues in communication with QBO require conversation and not a chat or a link to the learning center We have been using the software for around 3 years

Your time keeping is great Your invoices are the worst I have ever had at 3 firms and 4 programs They make no sense and make me look like a moron to my clients You use a Keleven My whole office agrees

No customer service

I have twice tried to set up an onboarding session The first time the trainer didn t schedule the agreed upon event she said she had a family emergency The second time my response to the trainers email has yet to be answered

Over charged

You don t adequately answer the questions I ask There s an additional subscription charge of 132 that was recently applied after I already paid an annual subscription price of 450

Would not recommend LeanLaw

I would not recommend LeanLaw to any firm larger than 1-5 attorneys We have had a terrible experience trying to roll out LeanLaw particularly on the billing side The product has many bugs in all areas - time entry billing and reports The desktop time entry often produces errors and the online time entry is oddly designed If you are considering LeanLaw I would highly recommend you ask for a demo version to test each area the way you would use it including generating a client bill before signing a contract
