Disgusting Customer Service
New Store in Bingham Notts Last week I went up to a Store Assistant and asked how to cook a frozen lobster one of the special offers of the week she could not understand a word of English laughed in my face Furious at this point I asked for a Manager Unfortunately she couldn t speak English that well either I don t have a problem with this in general but I do think staff should have a good understanding of our language be able to communicate with the general public Neither staff had a name badge on which I found very unusual for a supermarket Why I wonder Extremely dissapointed Roll on Aldi opening opening next week in Bingham

Three hours after opening they were out
Three hours after opening they were out of the weeks sale items Store was dirty One cashier Overcharged on milk This lacey twsp NJ store has been a failure since opening With an Aldi within one mile the won t be in business long New Jersey with the largest freshest blueberries in the country right now and they re selling blueberries from Miami There is never anyone to complain to And they don t seem to care if you do find someone to ask a question of It s a failure of management whoever is in charge of advertising and ordering should be fired it s easy to find incompetent people

I had been a loyal customer however when I dare question why they excluded long time customers from their grocery giveaway they resorted to lying The marketing managers had the customer service reps lie They thought they were too good to offer up an honest response Corporate is horrible as it relates They think they are too big to fail that they can treat consumers any way they like They are fine w accepting our money yet will ignore lie to you when you question them They get less than 1 star for this I wrote them on Mar 2023 they have failed to even respond That s what utter arrogance looks like no respect for customers looks like

Purchased a 75 Darden gift card on April 14 at Wilson NC store It was not activated by cashier Wife called number on card to verify it was not activated Went back to store no refund for gift card Had to file a case with company has been two weeks with no decision from customer service department There should be an option for 0 star reviews

I received a pair of long insulated
I received a pair of long insulated underwear pants that had no fly The pants are worn under many layers of clothing in COLD weather I had difficulty for obvious reasons trying to find the fly in emergency conditions I thought the very least Lidl s could do was apologise and also I thought the President of Lidl s a Yale graduate Joel Rampoldt President would have been raised with the knowledge of proper ettiquette to respond to something like this It is also pretty wong in business to let a 8 00 item turn into customer loss and this review The date of this experience is today because this is no longer about the flyless insulted underwear It is about corporate manners

Rude cashier 3 10 2022 I visited Lidl store at 6548 Little RiverTurnpike I had my cart full of groceries my customer ID LL2d1ce53f so the cashier started pushing my grocery on the floor then said ready to pay well I had to pick up 3 items she pushed out no apology I paid and started to put groceries in my bags again she pushed my grocery quickly I finished and told all to the manager

Cashiers machines rarely accepts my debit cards
Although lidl does have good prices the problem i have with the shopping is that their cashiers machines rarely accept debit cards or is rigged to not accept them I never have any problem with the other groceries stores in the area except Lidl but miracuously the lidl cashiers machine works perfectly fine when i use my credit cards So i give them 5 thumbs down for fraud

Absolutely horrible meat department
Absolutely horrible meat department 5 times I bought rancid meat that was no where near the expiration date When I returned my spareribs the last time the manager said he would not remove the remaining packages off the shelves He also lied saying no one has returned meat there which is a lie because I did more than once I really tried to support this company now I will go on every social media warning customers to stay away They don t care about their customers just about their pockets Wish I could give negative stars

Carts are not allowed to use to carry the items to the garage
I was at Lidl Columbia Hights DC Surprisingly they started prohibiting customers to take the cart to the garage How do you expect customers carry 2 packs of 40 or 25 bottles of water without cart Can anyone help me understand this They told me it is the corporate decision

Bad quality and merchandise high prices more than other grocery stores very few items that are on sale And they do not give you your money back even though I hadn t left the building they are against policies the law is you can return your items and they could not do it I m going to call consumer affairs now
