Worthless guarantee

I bought a bike headlight in June 2020 from our local Lidl store It was guaranteed for three years In October 2020 it failed completely Instead of taking it back to the store and getting a replacement or refund you have to complete an online form which I did I got a confirmation by email and was told that my case had been forwarded to the manufacturer in Germany Two weeks later I have had no response No refund no replacement This means that the guarantee is worthless They might as well guarantee it for one hundred years or one thousand years It makes no odds For fifteen euros I can t be bothered chasing it I just won t be buying any more non-food items from Lidl I will buy them from a seller that actually honours their guarantee Amazon springs to mind

I bought 7 pistolets de nettoyage spray attachment for hosepipe EACH single one leaks just over the last ring which has the manufacturer s name on it Several have problems with adjusting the water stream to a thin yet and a couple also have problems with locking the water flow to constant streaming It is also not possible to reduce the waterflow to very low The sprayers that Lidle sold until last year were much better and had no problems Similar story regarding egg cookers I bought one about 10 years ago at Lidld Sturdy and designed so one doesn t burns one s hands in the steam when lifitng egg holder out It worked perfectly all the time just in the end the alarm stopped working I bough a new one Looks nice but badly designed flimsy and the handles to life the holder out are not on the side like before but one large handle over the top which means that one has to reach straight into the steam The egg carrier holder also has wrong size holes the eggs constantly fall over even while cooking and to get the to the sink is and art Are they not testing their products

Parkside Heat gun bought in Aug used twice second time burst into flames not abused normal use stopped workingVisited the LIDL lussac les chateau where I bought it only to be told they would not refund or replace On my store receipt it says guaranteed 2 years I am absolutely disgusted we spend 400 a month in this storeNO MORE Minus 100stars it s the principle it only cost 15

Very poor cusstomer service they do not stand by theor products

I bought an expensive food item and paid by credit card and when I got home I saw that the expiry date had passed by 3 days Lidl Le Bugue would not honour a return because I did not have the actual docket even though you could see a Lidl Le Bugue purchase three days after the food expiry date It was very expensive rubbish ALWAYS CHECK LIDL EXPIRY DATES BECAUSE THEY DON T AND THEY DON T CARE THEY DO NOT HONOUR THEIR PRODUCTS TO WHY SHOULD ANYONE ELSE
