Please do not shop here They are dodgy as all hell Sure some people actually get their goods and another fraction of those might be undamaged but I now understand why this company has a 2 star rating They took 100 deposit and held onto my money for over 120 days before admitting they didn t even have the furniture They will use delay tactics to make you think your goods are coming I finally cancelled and am now fighting to get my money back 6 months after they took thousands of dollars

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY I ordered 10 chairs in June - with a note on their website at time of ordering that stock had just arrived in their warehouse I received ONE chair a month later and an email that the remaining chairs would take 2 months to come They have since told me they will now arrive at the end of October November Over 4-5 MONTHS later I m stuck with 1 chair and wasted MONTHS waiting for the others TERRIBLE company

I am another victim of Life Interiors unfair customer service decisions I purchased a 1200 sofa and when it arrived it looked like an old dirty couch it was new but just looked horrid Another friend was planning to buy one too and when she saw mine it was an instant OH NO I contacted them allow days for them to respond btw and yes they confirmed that they sent me the right colour Their web site images for this item were misleading So I have to pay freight to return even though there is a store 45 minutes from my home that I could drive to There is also a 25 restocking fee which will also be deducted from my refund Very disappointing Herman Boucle 2 Seater Sofa is the item I am referring too The fabric looks ugly and dirty on different angles when you see it in person which is why they have no display stock in any of their stores Updated to say that I did receive the refund and they arranged the freight company which was a good rate and well organised

I ordered a table from this company They said the table was in stock but two months later I still haven t received my order I just found these reviews here and feel really disappointed Why are companies like this allowed to operate I am taking this with the consumer council it is a waste of my time and money PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever We ordered the Norah king bed Our dream bed but the process was more of a nightmare than a dream My husband had a bad work place injury so we opted to pay for the full service and have the delivery crew assemble our bed The first disaster was the delivery crew dragging in the boxes covered in grease leaving a huge grease stain on our brand new wool carpet I was devastated They didn t even tell us They simple assembled the bed and thought they could drive away They were down the driveway when we had to chase them and pull them up on the grease stain They didn t want to take responsibility for that After they left we noticed that our bed was in fact damaged faulty Every side was damaged and the headboard was on an angle that couldn t be adjusted I straight away called life interiors The customer service wasn t great It took weeks for someone to come out and fix the carpet Months for the bed to be replaced It should ve been a straight exchange but no they only wanted to replace parts not the whole After almost 3 months of waiting we finally got our replacement parts this week The whole process was a massive headache and the lack of care and communication was appalling The bed was expensive and I expected better customer service or at least some compensation for all the stress and problems that they put us through

Avoid at all costs shop around Don t buy online
Awful company with zero customer service Ordered chairs before Christmas only half arrived they sent out a replacement that was damaged and then sent out one with no legs and the thread had gone on one of the screws Now won t return or replace despite having sent several photos and proof that in fact their product is not fit for purpose Would stay well clear of any online purchases from this company and Debenhams for that matter

Misleading conduct reported to ACCC
Worst service I ve ever received Purchased 4x Grasshopper Dining Chairs advertised as available floor stock When I received the invoice to secure my order I questioned why it had a May delivery ETA Customer service assured me the floor stock was allocated to me and that it would be delivered within a week Next day 4x Aus Post package labels were created Next day I received confirmation of delivery to occur within 48hr with a delivery time of 11 01am allowing 2 hour window Day of delivery text message confirmation that delivery was occurring that day with a link to track the delivery driver 12 minutes before delivery was due I received an email advising the delivery failed When I contact customer service they advised that they needed to order the chairs in and ETA was May 2025 I asked for a refund no response for 3 days Finally they confirmed they d received my email and that the refund team would need to process it It s been 10 days since the last email and I still haven t received my refund I wouldn t have purchased if the chairs weren t available Not that I need to justify anything This is outright misleading conduct and they should be held accountable I d add photos but my chairs haven t arrived Nor has my refund

Beware this company cannot be trusted
I had an utterly frustrating experience with Life Interiors I placed an order in December expecting delivery in January On receiving the order confirmation the date showed as 21 February That date came and went and has now been pushed back multiple times now to late April each time with vague excuses that felt like stalling It s now mid March past due and I m still empty-handed and out of pocket Worse when I asked for a refund they flat-out refused citing some fine print buried away on their website In my opinion their customer service is a masterclass in evasion I have not personally had a worse online experience As an example of their ethics take a look at their ratings on their website versus other locations do your own research and make your own conclusions I wish I did Based on my experience I d warn anyone to think twice before trusting their delivery promises or their refund policy Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere

Not a pleasant experience with Life Interiors
Very disappointed with Life Interiors No after sales service No immediate response to my email had to wait days for that VERY Expensive Delivery Service I wanted to pick up goods myself to avoid the 81 charge but that is non negotiable only 2 suburbs away from the store and I had to pay 81 No After Sales Service I contacted them very soon after delivery of item to say I wanted to change to a different colour of same item which was a higher priced item in that new colour had no problem with that BUT to just simply change the colour of an item they demanded I use their expensive delivery service again charging 81 to pick up the goods They would not allow me to return items myself and then on top of that they demanded a 20 restocking fee Additional 157 Plus they were wanting ANOTHER 81 to deliver the goods again Again not allowing me to pick up goods from their store I have never encountered such additional charges with any other store when simply exchanging upgrading to a new version of a product I had just purchased So in my case 319 Costs involved to just EXCHANGE a product AND that s ON TOP of the additional cost of the new colour I wanted Additionally they wanted photos of the items which were still in the original packing boxes I did that they then asked for more photos from different angles I did that SHOCKINGLY EXPENSIVE company to deal with So its BUYER BEWARE with Life Interiors on Balmain Rd
