Amazing Hidden Gems of Trastevere tour

Today we had the pleasure of taking a Live Virtual Tour through Trastevere in Rome and it was a wonderful experience that allowed us to explore some truly hidden gems in one of our favorite neighborhoods Even though we re from Rome we discovered things we were not familiar with interesting stories from the past and beautiful little corners that we would not have explored on our own The guide was very nice and extremely passionate about Rome and its history as well as being very knowledgeable He was able to answer all of our questions and we never felt rushed or pressured when we took our time to snap a few photos We would definitely recommend live virtual guides and look forward to doing another tour in the near future

Unique and highly recommended

This walking tour is unique in that you do visit an original water storage area for this part of Rome underground Our guide Federica was excellent in delivering the history of buildings the area and the water supply and she pointed out so many little features in the buildings themselves that were amazing Her knowledge was extensive and she delivered it all with enthusiasm and energy The underground part of the tour has only recently been excavated and because of its size has restrictions in the number of visitors allowed so it really is something very special to do

This tour was everything I hoped it would be As a fan of the historical novel Eternal by Lisa Scottoline which is set in the area I was able to visualize the characters in their neighborhoods which I was standing in Valentina was an exceptional guide

It s was a really great way to see another part of Rome and taste the great local food and meet the people behind the stores The tour was with a lot of enthousiasm would recommend it to everybody
