If I could rate them zero stars I
If I could rate them zero stars I would This is a horrible co I have an FHA loan which means I m required to have an escrow acct Only my mortgage co LoanCare has access to the escrow acct I got a letter from LoanCare in Nov saying my insurance was cancelled I called them they said the Mortgagee Clause needed updating so they put me on hold called Liberty Mutual Then came back a few minutes later said it was fixed I thought it was taken care of but in Jan I got another letter saying my insurance cancelled I called Liberty Mutual was told LoanCare had not paid them I called LoanCare they said they were never billed However LM told me they billed LoanCare 3 times since Sept informed them the bill was due in Nov when the mortgagee clause was updated Because of the lapse in coverage LM ended up not being able to re-write my policy I had to get PA forceplace insurance LoanCare is now saying I owe them 500 for the months the property did not have insurance when THEY were supposed to pay it I reported this to both the BBB CFPB So much for being protected LoanCare is a predatory lender While all of this is going on with the insurance my mortgage payment is one month behind and they have already sent me a loss mitigation packet a foreclosure notice and had an inspector come out to confirm if I live in my home or not It is excessive and intimidating All a bit much for one missed payment

If I could give a negative score I would This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with They do not work with their customers I have called many many times and I always get a different person one worse than the last if that is even possible These people do not know what they are doing

My loan was sold to Loancares
My loan was sold to Loancares I did not choose them We closed on a refinance in 5 months ago satisfying the loan We found a house to which we would like to move and so we decided to sell We are closing in 3 days and found out from our closing attorney yesterday that there was no satisfaction of mortgage documentation filed with the registrar of deeds After two days on calls with them my wife got someone who actually did research and divulged that this document was sent to my registrar of deeds two weeks ago 4 5 months after closing I called that registrar of deeds who told me that the only documentation that she had received this year a 10 month span was the record of the refinance mortgage ironically filed on the day of closing It s ironic that I see TV commercials daily about how much despite the public health crisis of 2020 this company is doing for homeowners For whomever they did my share you re welcome They sure as hell haven t done it for me Avoid this lender AT ALL COSTS

Probably the worse company I have ever dealt with from a customer service standpoint They don t adhere to simple laws and the customer service is a complete loop with nothing ever getting resolved

In 30 years of buying and selling houses this is without a doubt the worst mortgage company that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with now that my original loan was sold to them Avoid at all costs if you are able to

Modern Day Sweatshop
For the life of me I don t understand why Loancare is so incompetent I have a great deal of patience as I have been in the mortgage industry for over a decade and I have seen a lot This is why I stay on top of my mortgage I got laid off in March so I had to contact them regarding my different options I already know how they operate so I made sure I stayed on top of them throughout my moss mitigation proceeds Customer Service NEVER knows anything and continues to give incorrect information I asked probing questions and asked for clarification because I knew they were wrong I asked to speak to Loss Mitigation they advised me that they could never transfer me which was also incorrect because 1 day I finally was transferred and even they probably incorrect info So now my loan is a month behind and I have paces BBB and CFPB complaints and nothing Even still calling Customer Service and them still giving incorrect information I am submitting a complaint with the Attirney General today and will have to spend money I don t have on a lawyer now for one little payment that they will not correct that they can With all the FCRA and CFPB violations this company has recently had I don t understand why they are still in busy and companies are allow them to subservice their loans It s ridiculous

PAYMENT NOT CREDITED RECEIPTS IGNORED
I paid my mortgage online August 3 The funds were not withdrawn from my account Whenever I looked online to see payment status the website was down for maintainance I mailed a check for the same payment mid August Despite being in receipt of the front and back of a check endorsed and cashed by LoanCare as well as an unadultered pdf from my bank showing a positive running balance before and after the transaction as requested and a promise from LoanCare that there would be a decision Sept 6 my account is marked delinquent and as such I am unable to make payments online or by phone I spent 60 00 to western union a third August payment to them on August 30 just to avoid a credit impact There have been countless telephone calls and emails with no resolution As of Sept 11 my account has not been credited and there is no indication of how to proceed or when their investigation might be completed Im struggling to understand why I would mail another payment to a place that still hasnt found the last one I am also wondering how common is the practice of a debt collector to refuse funds that are being offerred I sure wish I had read the reviews here but since I had no input into who bought or serviced my loan it would not have made a great deal of difference I am just absolutely fascinated by this process of no control over who handles my largest financial matter or requirement for them to be competent or communicate Loancare has given no indication of regret or urgency on their part and does not seem to care to resolve this It is just crazy to me that I made a payment have the receipt it is not acknowledged in a timely fashion but LoanCare gets to unilaterally charge fees affect credit scores and keep their job My whole life I thought a check was a receipt of a transaction I had no idea that you could cash a check deny receiving it and refuse to acknowledge proof of recipt I feel like if I was the one that was trying to extort an extra payment or requiring payment in a certain way that occurrs large fees it would be some sort of fraud I also thought LoanCare had a fiduciary duty to act in my best interest a responsibility to minimize costs of servicing my mortage and an obligation to provide assistance when requested Good luck everyone

Loancare has not processed two months
Loancare has not processed two months of my payments blaming postal services Every other company I deal with has received their payment not Loancare I think they expect us to pay online every month and still are holding my checks I sent That s like paying my mortgage twice I am tired of excuses and blaming other people for not receiving my payments If i cancel my checks they will charge ME for their inconvience What a load of Cra This is like a scam company I expect results not excuses I can not log into my account due to their issues I can t get a live person on the phone and I am tired of waiting for a call back Loancare please explain you problems to me that are factual NOT BECAUSE OF COVID OR TAX PAPERWORK You are the provider and I am the customer I need results now

Cut Throat loan servicing company
The worst loan servicing company in the business My mortgage was sold to them from Rocket Mortgage and they have been a nightmare from the start Anytime you call them they make sure you know that they are debt collectors and they will do whatever they need to do to collect a debt Pffffttt they are my mortgage lender - I don t need to be treated like I am delinquent customer They treat everyone like they are just a line of credit that they need to collect on In 5 years I accidentally underpaid my mortgage bill by 253 in one month I got a notice from them notifying me that my bill was past due 3 weeks later I paid the full balance plus past due on my next month s payment - they reported me to the credit agency for being past due JERKS 1 time in 5 years - slight underpayment by mistake - they are cut throat

Horribly incompetent
Horribly incompetent They lost my July payment and I had to do all the legwork to track it down cancel the check wire a new payment and pay for the wiring fee Their app is useless and their website is awful It makes you log in at least twice and is up maybe 20 of the time I ve been extremely underwhelmed since they took my mortgage over in June Good news is they can t get any worse and can only improve Caveat Emptor
