TRAVELLERS BEWARE
We used Locationauto ma for 5 days while in Morroco and we were not happy with the experience at all First of all Locationauto has no office space in the airport and you have to find the guy who does all the papers in the parking lot Apparently we should ve known that It took us about 1 hour and several calls to Morrocan number just to find him Secondly the guy in the parking lot only speaks French So if you don t know the language like we did you re going to have a lot of problem The guy didn t know a single word in English except no problem and was constantly speaking with us in French even though it was apparent that we don t understand a single word We asked for another person who could talk at least a little bit of English but that was worthless Furthermore we booked a Hyundai i10 or similar which in pictures looks just like a typical 4-door mini car Instead we got a 20-year-old Renault Clio all beat up and WITHOUT DRIVER SIDE MIRROR Yes we couldn t believe that this is serious but like I said the guy didn t know a word in English and was just repeating no problem no problem It s like if traffic in Marrakech wasn t crazy enough we had to drive through it without having a driver side mirror He refused to fix it and since it was so late we had no option but to take it and drive to hotel We got stopped by police and given a fine because of it so at least the rent agreed to pay for the fine Either way we had to waste our time talking with police multiple times and explaining to them that it s not us who broke the mirror but the rent company which gave it to us like that We phoned the company and gave them to talk with the police to better explain the situation and after the call the police told us that the rental company provided us with the safe vehichle In other words he said that we broke the mirror ourselves which meant he lied to the police to avoid getting charged for providing such vehichle That was unbelievable We got another car a couple of days later after complaining to the company about providing unsafe vehicle but even then we had to come to the airport and wait another 2 hours or so until the guy came to the parking lot and provided us another car Overall the experience was really poor we had to waste a lot of our time and money on making calls to Morrocan phone number had to talk and explain ourselves to police multiple times and we weren t approached by professional representatives I think rental companies must have an office and an English speaking representative for international tourists so that we wouldn t need to be wondering all around unknown airports looking for someone with a logo on their t-shirt I hope this doesn t happen to anyone else I will never use this rental company again

Bad experience will never use again
TRAVELLERS BEWARE Company Locationauto is running a scam on a side of a car renting service We rented their car through Ranair car hire Upon arriving to pick up the car at Marrakech airport our visa credit card was denied by their card reader After checking with our bank they assured that no inquiry was made to the system at all meaning the locationauto was purposefully making a card be denied Without leaving the deposit they wont give you the car and Ryanair car rental by their service terms would not give you back a penny if there were any deposit payment issues Now is the best part after your card failure literally tens of local car renters would show up trying to sell their rentals location auto would not shun them away and even encourage to speak to them possibly getting some commission out of the deal with the desperate Spending 2 days stuck without a car and scouting for an other rental we learned from competition arround that location auto does not have too many cars so they found a way to rent out more than they physically have Esspecially while a lot of people miss the small print while renting through Ryanair auto that one must present only credit visa no debit accepted thus earning more Ryanair was also very unhelpful in this situation no support provided whatsoever as of this time no refund while continuing to represent locationauto scam And dont expect to have a smooth communication as noone from location auto would speak English with you if you are cought into scam They would happily say go deal with Ryanair auto they will refund you and write in their paper - card denied cementing their argument that it is you fault After observing them for half a day we saw that they had cars in the morning however after lunch no one would get their car and none would be seen arround During our unpleasabt time we saw arround 8 renters shunned away be it a debit card instead of credit or credit card not working Hope this reaches someone who could make a difference and punish the thieves

I rent a car with Locationauto through VipCars
This was a bad experience I strongly advise anyone to use another company That might cost a few euros more - but that s worth avoiding this company We picked it up at Marrakech airport Locationauto does not have an office they do their business on the parking lot That s not bad necessarily but you wonder why they don t have a simple office like the other rental car companies at the airport Car 1 not a full gas tank even though we booked that it was 1 4 full The staff all too common reaction was no problem It was a problem to me I don t want to pay for a full tank when they don t provide me one so I made a point out of it After discussing it they adjusted the contract so that was solved After driving 200 metres we noticed one of the side mirrors was broken I had driven in Morocco before - side mirrors are essential We returned to the rental company and after inspecting mirror they decided to give us another same type of car Car 2 this car did not have a spare tire only a set to fix a flat tire yourself I said I want a spare tire I am not the person to fix a flat tire myself They were quite difficult about giving me a spare no problem no problem - you can fix yourself After a few minutes of discussion I told them to give me the spare tire from car 1 apparently they could not see that option themselves In the end we got that spare tire After driving a bit we found out the A C in the car was broken It was the end of October so not super hot but still 30 degrees on many days We decided not to go back and complain about it because of our earlier experience there When returning the car they said we would have our deposit back within 24 hours - that did not happen We had to wait for almost 1 month and had to send several emails the phone number was never picked up before the deposit was refunded as happens automatically All in all a bad experience Nobody wants this kind of hassle on their trip

1000 deposit has not been returned
I rent a car with Locationauto through Vipcars online from Paris When i arrived at the airport in Casablanca Youness lazy agent at the office was complaining that he was so busy and i m adding to his bad day He was relaxing and using his by himself No greeting or smiling Anywhose he started to say that the car is not ready and he needs to drive his own car to bring me the rental one All this comedy is to let me know that i have to tip him Once leaving towards the parking lot he stopped and show me two ATM machine to withdraw money and tip him I say no During the rental one day the car does not start I called the office Youness said there nothing i can do for you I explained that i payed full insurance through VipCars online I can t reach this last one cuz i don t have international call at the moment Long story short i fixed the car by myself It was a battery connection I was very happy that wasn t something else and will ruin my day After 20 days of rental called Youness where to drop the car He said call me again when near the airport fine At the highway toll near by i called again Once at the parking i let him know that i m waiting He said that he can t come no reason why I decided to go check in I gave him the last call stating that i will the car key with customs officer if does not come pick his key He was rude I hang up on him Luckily i made it just on time and run from Terminal 1 to 2 to see him by himself bored He was surprised that i called him by his name and the fact that i caught him in this situation Same angry face i said hi no greeting he did not say one word and ignoring me I put the key on desk and tell him no damage in car gave him the location of it and told him i took pick of it One advice STAY AWAY from this guy Youness

Red Bull and a 187 surprise
I hired a car from Casablanca airport for 3 months The 1000 deposit was immediately deducted from my credit card balance I returned the car at the beginning of April 22 and after 3 weeks started to chase up the missing deposit I tried over the phone and have been hung up on more than once Luckily I live in Casablanca so I can visit their office at the airport however this is a lengthy journey for me and I really do have more important things to do On the first visit I was told that it can take more than 30 days to show on my credit card I have now been waiting 2 5 months they have had my deposit for 5 months and have been to the airport numerous times spoken to various different people on the phone some who were extremely rude On the last visit they put the card through the machine and told me to wait another 30 days and it still hasn t been returned So beware of this when they say they are returning your deposit Come on location auto do the decent thing I cannot wait another 30 days so how about I come and collect the cash

Never again Cheap rental from Agadir but very dangerous beaten up vehicle bald tyres faulty brakes totally useless windscreen wipers car was collected at night so problems only apparent later Then Locationauto doesn t answer the telephone or respond to voicemail or SMS Appalling service despite personable staff at airport car park Use this company at your peril

Never again Filthiest and smelliest car I ever rented greasy stains bald tyres almost no fuel full of scratches and dents all around Swapped after 1 5 days being grounded at hotel Now they re lying to broker rentalcars it wasn t their car Would not recommend

After reading review i won t book
I booked an intermediate car so that I could fit all my luggage in the boot and have some decent ground clearance while driving around Morocco and the dishonest company charged me for an intermediate car but gave me a compact car They insisted that they didn t have anything else so I was forced to take it The car was filthy on pick up and the petrol tank completely empty below the lowest line on the gauge I had to risk running out of petrol while driving to the petrol station The tyres kept losing pressure and had to have air pumped into them every few days Dodgy company Dodgy vehicle Avoid
