Vehicle Ordered Not Sent and 2nd Vehicle Paid for Never Arrived
On Tuesday 19th October 2021 I booked a return vehicle to transport my family to and from London Heathrow Airport When making the booking via the website I was presented with a number of options for vehicles but as I knew that there would be 8 passengers making the journey I booked and paid for the largest vehicle you offered based on the information presented on the website This was the Minivan Standard which states that it is Ideal for group transfers or passengers carrying several large suitcases Your website also states that this particular vehicle is able to take 8 passengers 8 Large Bags check in size and 8 small bags carry on size This is also further clarified later on in the booking process where your online form asks you to confirm the total number of passengers and luggage to which I stated that there would be 8 passengers 8 large bags and 8 small bags This was the vehicle I booked based on the information present by your company on your website and as such expected that this would be the vehicle that escorted my family home which included 3 of my children aged 12 6 and my baby of 1 On Sunday 31st October 2021 at approximately 6 45pm Barcelona Time 45 mins before I was due to board my flight home I received a call from Omar stating that due to a legislation change from TFL which had come into effect 2 or 3 days ago passengers were no longer able to sit next to drivers and that the only option to get my family home would be to book and pay for another car which would cost 90 As you can expect I was not happy to receive this information so close to me arriving home and just as I was about to board my flight home but didn t see another viable option I reluctantly paid the 90 with the promise that in addition to the vehicle made in the original booking I would also be sent a saloon car to transport my family home Approximately 10 minutes after finishing the call with Omar he called back to advise that he would actually be able to honour the original booking made and that he would refund the 90 payment just made for the additional car Up until today s date of Tuesday 2nd November 2021 no such refund has been made and the payment of 90 still remains on my Credit Card Once we had landed and retrieved our luggage I messaged the driver who arranged to meet us outside Costa at Terminal 5 We did so and made our way back to what I believed to be the advertised vehicle I had originally booked and paid for To my surprise the vehicle sent was not as advertised and was no where near large enough to accommodate my family as it was initially advertised The driver was only able to fit 4 large suitcases in the boot and there was only enough space inside for 7 passengers He advised that we would not be able to take us all and that there were no other cars available to come and take the rest of my family and luggage I immediately called London Heathrow Cars to complain and advise of the situation I once again explained that I had paid and booked for a vehicle that would take 8 people 8 large bags and 8 carry ons and this was not the vehicle that had been sent The person who I spoke to was very dismissive of the situation and advised that there were no other vehicles he could send and that we got what we paid for I tried to explain that the website advised we would be receiving a vehicle large enough to take 8 passengers and their luggage but he again dismissed what I was saying stating that he personally didn t agree with what the website said surrounding the luggage requirements and that he was in no way prepared to offer a refund or absorb the cost of arranging alternative transport home At this point I was fuming as I was now in a position where my family was stuck at Heathrow Airport with no way to get us home together safely An additional 90 paid for a vehicle that never arrived and a vehicle which had been mis-sold to me with false advertising In order to get us all home my family had to split up and the vehicle that was sent had to have one of the back seats put down so that an additional case could be put in the car which obviously meant one less space for a passenger and I was left in a position where I had to pay an ADDITIONAL 99 for a taxi back home for the rest of my family In total I am out of pocket 331 for a booking which should have cost me 142

Trying to PROFIT off giving my service to another company without telling meWhen I landed I had texts from a random car company that I had not heard of that detailed my name and home address Additionally a driver from that company called me to ask about my booking When I told him that I had not booked with his company but with London Heathrow Cars he had not heard of your company I called London Heathrow Cars and the man who answered informed me that you had hired this other company to take the booking as you couldn t take it due to a driver emergency This is not acceptable There was no attempt by London Heathrow Car to contact me and inform me of the change or to ask my permission to share my personal information with another company I was scared I m was travelling alone and as a women that is already unnerving Luckily this time I was able to contact London Heathrow Cars and get the reassurance that it was legitimate and the car driver were perfectly acceptable however the way in which it was handled by London Heathrow Cars was not I requested that at minimum the fare difference returned me it was mentioned in the text from the other company that their fare was 55 I had already paid London Heathrow Cars 85 when I made my reservation It is unacceptable for London Heathrow Cars to attempt to make a 30 profit off delegating my reservation without my permission and without trying to contact me about it It would be unacceptable for London Heathrow Cars to make the profit even if they had done those things and they should have automatically refunded me the difference London Heathrow Cars should have done this even if I hadn t found out about the fare difference myself After three weeks having called twice and emailed twice regarding my complaint I was offered a 25 refund not even the entire fare difference I thought I was being generous only asking for the fare difference and not a full refund however they couldn t even do the minimal right thing to fix the problem I m appalled by the unprofessional and indifferent treatment by London Heathrow Cars Myself and my family have used their services many times before this with no issues We will not be using them again

No refund Don t let London Heathrow Cars steal from you
In June of 2023 my wife and I discovered that on the date of our arrival at London Heathrow in July 2023 there were scheduled rail strikes to occur We considered Uber to get to our destination however we had heard that Uber was unreliable Looking online we booked London Heathrow Cars for a guaranteed transport method to our destination which required paying in full upfront London Heathrow Cars clearly stated the following in the FAQ section on their website at the time of our booking If you cancel 24 hours or more before the pick-up time we ll refund the full fare minus a 10 00 cancellation feeIf you cancel less than 24 hours before the pick-up time the full fare is retainedAs such we weren t worried as we could cancel up to 24 hours before the pick-up time We were able to get picked up from the airport by a relative and consequently we cancelled our booking roughly 39 hours before our scheduled pick-up time We cancelled via the website and took screenshots including the date time the message sent and the confirmation message received I followed up with London Heathrow Cars via email the following morning 24 hours before the previously scheduled pick-up time They responded quickly advising that a refund would be processed and may take 3 to 5 business days to go through I checked my credit card a week later and no refund I followed up with London Heathrow cars repeatedly five times in total Each time they were very responsive to email back stating that they would check with their accounts team But then nothing further was ever communicated After two weeks of that I knew I was getting the runaround I opened a dispute case with PayPal and provided them with the screenshots I had taken and the complete email correspondence Within a few days PayPal closed the case in my favour and I had a full refund provided London Heathrow Cars lack of integrity and unethical behaviour has now earned them this negative review and further bad publicity which by all accounts from what can be read online they do not need I would never consider using this company in the future and would avoid them My unsolicited advice to all who may experience a similar situation is if after cancelling 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up and the refund is not received after a reasonable timeframe follow up a couple of times with London Heathrow Cars and failing that promptly dispute the charge with Paypal or with your credit card company Don t let London Heathrow Cars steal from you They did nothing to earn your money if they didn t provide a service But when London Heathrow Cars don t adhere to their own published rules what they do earn is a negative review such as this and they will be paid in full

Refund still not received after 8 weeks
Last December I made a booking for my daughter and grandson to be collected from Heathrow after their flight from San Francisco on Boxing Day morning Unfortunately my grandson was taken ill and they were unable to take the flight I phoned as soon as I knew and successfully cancelled the booking and was told I would receive a refund lees a handling charge of 10 After at least four telephone calls and being told it would be referred to accounts for payment as a matter of urgency I am still awaiting the refund Update After contacting Mastercard to begin a chargeback procedure I have received an email from LHC apologising for missing out the refund in error and I should receive the refund in the next few days

I booked a car with London Heathrow Cars for which they took payment They told me they couldn t accomodate my request and that I would be refunded They are yet to refund me and won t answer any communication This is a scam company Do not book with them

Terrible service
Terrible service called to book a taxi for a 16 minute drive to Heathrow airport with 22 hours notice They wanted to charge us 46 one way felt we had no other option and they pre charged our card without telling us they had a no cancellation policy because it was less than 24 hours I found airport parking for less than they wanted to charge us so rang back less than 20 minutes later to ask to cancel to be told they wouldn t refund anything at all More than happy to have paid a cancellation fee but 46 for absolutely nothing is a disgrace I m sure they d not even assigned a driver in the less than 20 minutes it took for me to call back I felt bad for the operator on the phone as he was genuinely apologetic They ve just made nearly 50 for doing absolutely nothing

Do not risk your money
Awful experience with these people tried to contact them 3 days in a row When I did eventually get someone on the line and I asked to send an AA inspector to look at a car before I bought it they ran a mile and completely ignored my messages Avoid these people at all costs the products they sell are not up to standard Just read the reviews on google so many people have been ripped off

Booked a pickup in south east london to go to heathrow T2 driver apparently went to T2 and was waiting for us there Our booking confirmation was clear on the pickup point I normally use addison lee who are completely reliable but were fully booked on that day As others have said don t rely on heathrow cars
