My friend and I preordered 12 t bone
My friend and I preordered 12 t bone steaks each which was going to be ready on Friday morning when we got there the butcher was on break a woman served us and said he cut 12 and the butcher would be back very shortly the steaks turned out to be 15 to 16 dollars a piece I called my sister to find out why they were so much and she said they were 12 ounces and not 6 ounces like we ordered when I went back she told us they were 6 ounces I said I have my sister on the phone and figured out they were 12 not 6 when I questioned the woman she said yes they were 12 when I said I ordered 6 she said pointing her finger right in my face that 6 ounces were going to be a sliver and they would be classified as fast fry and the cost would be more she was very very rude after my friend bought 100 dollars in groceries we decided to talk to the manager she said she would send the butcher up to the front of the store he did say he wasn t thinking and that he will go cut some we waited for about 45 min and he brought up 23 not 24 which I m sure was an honest mistake my friend is handicapped and could barely stand for that long my personal opinion is that she should of been made to come up and apologize or at least give us something complimentary maybe a couple extra steaks or something to try and make up for our bad experience it was longos in Ancaster and my name is Rose and my is rosehu3 hotmail Com I never ever complain but also I have never been treated so rudely by anyone before pointing her finger in my face and lying to my face saying hey 6 ounces until I called her on it and I shop there all the time and never had such a bad experience with Longos it s always been great going through all this this its just unacceptable thank you Rose

Customer Service Terrible Experience
I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident I encountered Longos Rutherford store which has been my primary grocery spot for several years Overall I have had positive experiences with your store particularly appreciating the excellent selection of cheeses and the consistently friendly and approachable staff However on my recent visit I had an unfortunate interaction with one of your employees named Laura which left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated During my visit when I approached the deli counter I was met with an unsmiling and unfriendly attitude from Laura As I requested different cold cuts I noticed that she handled the meats quite roughly which was not only unpleasant to witness but also concerning for the quality of the products It seemed that she may have been having a bad day but it is important to ensure that customers are not at the receiving end of any frustrations or negativity from your employees I believe that consistent and positive customer service is crucial for the success of any business and while this incident does not overshadow my overall positive experiences at Longos I would appreciate if you could address this matter and provide appropriate feedback or training to Laura in order to prevent similar incidents in the future It is essential for your employees to understand the importance of maintaining a courteous and respectful demeanor towards customers at all times Thank you for your attention to this matter I hope that my feedback can contribute to the ongoing improvement of customer service at your store I look forward to seeing a positive change in the behavior of your employees

Go Elsewhere Longos stands for LONG GONE
It was bad enough I got a cake from the bakery department which wasn t up to standards but the worst was when I phoned customer service at head office to report it She said what do you want us to do about it and obviously didn t want to have anything to do with the issue Empathy costs nothing She obviously had a bad attitude to begin with Since the Sobeys takeover they have clearly gone to the dark side Everything that the Longos family worked so hard for just got hijackacked What a shame

Cashier customer service
The cashier didn t pack my bags for me and instead she continued to scan things faster Everyone I tried to grab something she kept turning the rotating table at the end with my groceries on it I m fine packing my own bags but don t proceed to rush me and then watch me struggle

Shame on you Longos
Longo s at Trafalgar and Dundas has the worst customer service representative and rude middle-aged women who work the morning shift at the cash They stand around gossiping with a tall dark-haired male rep disregarding customers at self-service check-out or act as if there is something wrong with the customers in their inability to deal with non user-friendly cash registers The young afternoon staff are good especially a blond young man who is wonderful I have called Head Office and they asked that I write a formal complaint which I will this week I try not to go to this location in the morning but sometimes there is no choice Each time I go I am disappointed and maltreated The rudest clerk is in the Customer Service booth - an oxymoron as they are supposed to be trained to deal with customers I prefer to shop at Fortino s as their staff are wonderful always The only female clerk who is polite is Sandra and an elderly female clerk The rest are horrible

Bakery at Longos
Picked up a cake of the month January which looked very nice in the display case Very disappointed with it coffee crisp cake The cake was very dry and I am wondering if the cake decorator ran out of icing There was very little icing on the inside as well as the outside This is not the first time I ve been disappointed with a Longos cake Thought I would give them another try but seriously considering not purchasing there again in future At the price that they charge you would expect better quality

1 star only because they have a great selection of products and often carry new trendy items not found elsewhere olipop Staff are horrible at the yonge sheppard location in toronto So unfriendly not helpful and rude Prices are also quite high

Rock Hard bun
my complaint Hello To Whom This May Concern This morning I decided to do some shopping as one of my regular stores namely yours The fruits and veggies are always exceptional in quality bountiful with plenty of variety and selections The same can be said of your Meat and Seafood departments as well as the Hot Prepared Foods however I have a real big beef with one of your hot sandwiches I always try to time my shopping close to lunch so I can bring home a nice Meatball Sandwich I ve even shopped at your other store Downtown with the same results Here s my understanding of the buns in question for the sandwiches and that they are frozen then thawed the day of use and reheated warmed before making the sandwich Here s is the problem the buns become very hard and almost stale like rock hard like stiff Croutons California Sandwiches would never ever use buns in the way like you do Theirs is a nice soft Italian Portuguese roll bun not sure which the way a nice ItalianMeatball Veal Chicken Sandwich ought to be and not cardboard I challenge you to do a mystery shop and you ll discover what I m talking about but I m guessing that it s a way of saving waste recycling and getting one more day out of the product But this will come at a cost to the consumers like myself as this is the last time I ll ever purchase from that department again knowing what I know about the buns I ve been in the Grocery Industry long enough that I like to think I know what I m talking about You guys are doing a lot right but for me it s the details that count and this is one of them that you re missing the boat on Hopefully there will be some changes regarding this but it is what the Industry is A US company I use to work for would be jumping all over this complaint and a copy of this email would be disseminated company wide immediately Actions always speak louder than words regardless of where this email goes Thanks for you time S Here s is their typical followup and my response Good afternoon Thank you for notifying us of the unfortunate experience with your last purchase Please accept my apology for the inconvenience and negative experience with the bread You may return to the store with your receipt and product for a refund or we can apply a cashback to your Thank You Rewards card and then we will forward your feedback to our team If you do not have a card please register an account online and select the option I don t have a card but want to sign up in which a digital card will be assigned and we can apply a cashback Please advise your card number then we will apply a cashback for you to use in store Should you have any additional questions or concerns please feel free to contact our Guest Care Team at guestcare Regards Hello Your response is typical and an expected attempt at satisfying a customer no surprises Firstly I do not have a Thank You Rewards Card nor am I about to sign up for one the sandwich is in my stomach and if I could regurgitate it I would And should you feel you would like to go above and beyond customer service I will send you my address but as I mentioned before actions speak louder than words S

Dear Longos Well You have done it again Ripping off the public with your greed and indifference You ve taken the one thing I have looked forward to every week and ruined it I have been eating Pizza at your 100 bloor Street East location in downtown Toronto for a decade I bragged about it to my friends I spread the word far and wide about Longos Pizza It WAS genuinely good Longos has been price gouging us all since COVID like the cartel that you are but at least you didn t skimp on the ONE thing that you were doing well Pizza This past month you cheap penny pinching d-bags decided that it was time to F THAT UP TOO The pizza toppings have been significantly reduced The cheese barely covers the dough like a bad middle aged combover and I have to play Where s Waldo with the pepperoni I know shrinkflation is your new business model but can t you just raise the price instead of ruining it No We ll just pull the wool over our customers eyes once again When I went to complain to the manager he said this is from corporate directly and nothing can be done other than dislodging your micromanaging collective heads out from between your corporate avaricious a cracks long enough to actually start listening to any of your customers It s the little things that count No wonder you are getting one and a half stars You are hated F the public eh regards Rob
