Sub standard furniture zero customer service

Bought a chair end of march Didn t use said chair until end of may start of June within a couple weeks of gentle use the stitching started to come undone Contacted customer service they asked for photos we sent them straight away A month later and we haven t heard back since asked for a repair or replacement Now we just want a refund and to be done with them Bought it through B Q Don t do it B Q don t care luxury life don t seem to care Extremely unhappy and won t be shopping with either again Update today 29 11 23 luxury life flagged this as a fake review about another company I can assure you this is for them and it is 100 the correct company and completely truthful In an update since they flagged it eventually after being fobbed off and ignored luxury life offered us just 50 as a refund for their sub par chair No option for repair or replacement Ended up accepting it as had no option really shortly after contacting them regards the stitching it became apparent that the arm legs were coming detached and the chair was unusable and unsafe The chair was taken to the tip and is probably in landfill where it belongs I got a second hand chair for the 50 they eventually re-funded me from the 250apx we spent on the chair which after several months the second hand chair is still in pristine condition In a twist I badly hurt my hand on the footstool recline mechanism when we moved the chair Crushed my finger realised how unsafe it was for children etc so glad to be shot of the chair UPDATE 2 9 12 23 - Yet again luxury life have flagged this as not about them when it was most certainly them we dealt with I can provide email proof to anyone who wants it My advice DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY it s a quick way to throw a lot of money away

Received my sofa and the leg was broken Was offered a 50 refund but I would not have paid 50 less than the full amount for a broken sofa Luxury life are claiming they are waiting for the manufacturer to reply but have since ignored 4 emails I have sent If this standard of customer service continue I will be seeking further advice from citizens advice and reporting the the financial ombudsman by the looks of other reviews I do not hold out much hope for my sofa being replaced

My sofa was broken out the box had zero communication from the company So then I was forced to pause the payments on klarna and now they are lying to klarna saying I didn t follow the instructions and broke it myself Do not use this company

Avoid

Bought a chair in the wrong colour tried to cancel with in an hour was told we couldn t Chair arrived was very poor quality so would have wanted to return it anyway contacted company to return it they wanted 60 asked if we could use our own courier but was told they would still charge us 30 Would definitely not use again or recommend

This company is selling furniture in Debenhams site too please be careful ordering something from them I bought the chest of drawers a couple of weeks ago from Debenhams website and it was the worst choice of my life I saw this chest of drawers on the website liked the first photo and then scrolled down to find the measurements The description indicated sizes that were exactly what I needed The chest of drawers was sent quickly When we opened the box we checked all the parts for defects Although we found some small defects on a few parts we decided to keep the chest of drawers despite these issues When we started assembling it around the fourth step we noticed that the chest of drawers did not match the desired size We measured it and discovered it did not correspond to the dimensions stated on the Debenhams website I wrote to the customer service department explaining that the chest of drawers had several defects and did not match the measurements stated on the website I requested a refund and sent numerous photos as evidence that the dimensions were incorrect Unfortunately they refused to give a refund because we had already assembled a few parts of the chest of drawers They didn t provide any solution to satisfy both sides Instead they just sent a photo from the website with the correct measurements which I hadn t seen I only saw the first photo of the chest of drawers and then scrolled down to look at the measurements in the description Customer service only offered to replace the parts with defects I feel very disappointed and angry with this service because when you receive the furniture you don t measure all the parts to check if the sizes correspond to those indicated on the website you just check for defects and start assembling it They didn t even apologise for the mistake on the website that misled me nor did they offer any discount due to this error Future customers please be careful when buying any furniture from this website as you might also lose your money

Such a bad experience

So bad I bought a sofa from this company and just after 12 months which conveniently falls outside of the warrant the sofa is falling apart When I contacted them they said they were unable to do anything due to the warranty issue and further insulted my intelligence by telling me that the issue appears to be accidental damage Thankfully the umbrella company who sell their items submitted a partial refund but now I see from the reviews this company should really be shut down

Purchased a corner sofa from debenhams not luxury life keep away from both these companies When sofa was delivered we put it in our living room as you do The following morning we were setting of for my families first premier league game after spending a few days in London on return home looking forward to sit an relax in our new sofa it sunk well within 2 weeks of delivery it had structural issues I tried contacting both parties and both kept passing the buck finally debenhams said luxury life had informed them it had been over 60 days that s because they never reply Next excuse was it s wear and tear wow now if you Purchased a sofa that not only collapsed and wasn t fit for purpose surely you have 12 months warranty on all purchases right wear and tear doesn t its 6 now since we bought it Wear and tear after 6months christ I will be buying 2 sofa a year I got a CCJ against debenhams in court Next high court if that fails LUXURY LIFE NEXT WEAR AND TEAR nails stick out wish I could post pics don t put your families at risk DONT BUY OFF ANY OF THESE COMPANIES BEWARE
