I spent time researching many different companies buying used Apple Mac equipment including Musicmagpie CEX even checking using ebay There are a lot that offer the world but research shows they either do not deliver or are simply not trust worthy Using ebay is costly and time consuming and does not always deliver the best results I then checked the feedback for MacBuyBack who are backed by CheshireMacs and deal soley with Apple Mac equipment From start to finish the process was excellent I had bought a Macbook for a short term contract but it ended up sitting on my desk not being used I checked with Macbuyback and the price they offered seemed very good and the process compared to others was much more professional They even send a DPd label through so you know the machine will get to them They keep you informed of the progress once they receive the item and tell you they will be intouch after approx 5 days This is exactly how it was done and I am more than pleased and would definately recommend them to anyone looking to sell their Apple Mac equipment Leon

The process of selling to MacBuyBack worked precisely as the company promised On a Tuesday this company quoted a price based on my assessment of my 2019 iMac s being in good condition it was the best price that I found during my research into various companies as it happens I accepted their quotation they sent a label for the box and arranged the very speedy collection three days later that I had requested Friday let me know on Monday that it had arrived at their depot said that their engineers would assess the computer and that I would get a report at the end of five working days and sent an email on the following Monday confirming that the engineers had done their work and that the sum they had offered should now be in my bank account I looked and it was One other company I contacted for a quotation promised a quick emailed response but it never came I trawled through Spam folders as instructed - nothing was there One or two companies quoted a significantly lower figure I sent my iMac to MacBuyBack in its original box and you must send the mouse and the keyboard and the power cable - this is mentioned in the detailed instruction but not I think on the page which quotes a price The website advises on how to obtain appropriate packaging if you don t have the box you bought it in I suppose that things may go wrong if you don t pack a computer securely or if you assess it as in good condition and the engineers find faults My experience anyway was fantastic One sends away an iMac with some trepidation - what is this company in Cheshire Is it any good Will it try to scam me I was encouraged by Trustpilot reviews and can report that the service provided by MacBuyBack was exceptionally good I would certainly recommend them The whole process from the order being submitted to the payment reaching my bank account took fourteen days which could hardly be bettered for a remote service like this The timeline the company promised was followed exactly I had one query at the start about how quickly the DPD collection might be arranged and the telephone was answered by one of the engineers the agent whose number I had dialled was having a lunch break and he answered my question reassuringly and it turned out accurately So it s a very professional efficient service but also usefully personal - you make a call and someone answers and helps They kindly send a complimentary 50 voucher to help with buying a replacement Mac from them Irritatingly I had bought my replacement before deciding how to dispose of my old one That was a tactical blunder I hope that you won t be as silly as I was

Having checked the reviews I sent my Mac off as this was by far the best offer After a week I received the full amount quoted An advantage of MacBuyBack being a smaller operation is you can reach a real person easily
