Yesterday I pre booked a taxi online as I do regularly The pick up time was for 17 33 so that I could get back home from work on my break to finish the shift there At 17 30 I got a call from a driver asking me where exactly I was I advised I was only my way to the pick up spot for the pre booked time The driver said they will send another driver and hung up I waited outside until my break had almost finished 17 58 before having to go back in the office to finish my shift The worst part is that I had paid for this fare when I booked it and have not even had a response to my email sent requesting a refund for this debacle I had to get a lift back home afterwork given that my taxi money is still with Magnum Awful experience and 100 not what I expect from them I will use another service going forward and expect my refund asap or I will be contacting trading standards

Poor customer service

First time we have used Magnum taxis ordered it to come for 5 30am as my partner has to be in work for 5 45am as he s a delivery driver Taxi was 14 minutes late turned up at 5 43am which meant my partner was late for work which meant he lost his run for the day as AO are strict with run times Another AO driver had to take his run cause my partner was to late Phoned the operating office whilst driver was on way and the guy said the driver is on the way he s the only driver we have I can cancel the pick up if you want My partner still has to turn up or he could lose his job so that was a ridiculous comment I said can he get a part refund on the taxi as it was 22 anyway which was expensive to begin with but he said no and got rather funny with me and kept speaking over me Very bad customer service and not helpful at all Wouldn t recommend this company not even a sorry the driver is running late just a don t give a shit attitude by the operator This is my partners job you affected it s what pays our bills We are now a day wage down because of your incompetence to do your job correctly I don t expect a response as you ve already said you wouldn t give any money back and all you would do is talk over me anyway

Booked a taxi at 1800 to pick us up at 1845 as we had theatre tickets at 1845 the app said sorry we cannot find you a driver rang and got automated voice saying we are Trying to find you a driver had to cancel and book uber they had 45 minutes to make sure my taxi was on time absolutely poor service dont bother with this company if you ve got somewhere you need to be terrible

Tried to book a wheelchair excessible wav taxi They dont take advance booking for these which is silly as these are rare and they dont have many Having to ring up on the day for one is not good as could be waiting ages for one or none been available at all that day when needed Been wheelchair bound does not give much confidence in this company

Ripped Off twice by the driver - do not bother using

I ordered online and was quoted 5 80 for my fare when i made the journey the driver told me it was 6 70 and when I asked why it was different to the quoted online fare he said that he did not know - RIP OFF 1 RIP OFF 2 - As I only had the 5 80 I then had to go into the address to get the extra money i was then charged even more by the driver for his waiting time Absolutely shocking and corrupt by the driver i will go with UBER again as you know that what you get quoted you will pay

Pay in cash there stealing ur money if you use ur card look into this it s been happening months now the journey shows it costs 5 20 and there taking the xtra 70p just in case ur journey abit more it says hi will get a refund for the 70p as the journey is as on point never get refund this has happemed evertime I use my card someone needs look into this there making extra 50p to 70p on every they are not refunding u the difference back try it out if I could post a photo I would of proof

Awful customer service by phone holder

Didn t even get the through any stage further then the phone call and was rudely cut off as I asked him to repeat himself and clearly didn t have the patience and was not speaking clearly at all We then tried to ring back and the same thing happened again Very rude guy and won t be using again I really hope this gets looked into as this was unacceptable at the least and will cause further bad reviews in the future Customer service was so appalling I ve never had a bad experience but this was just shocking to me
