Terrible
Terrible I ordered a commode for my elderly mother who has dementia Was told it would be 3-4 weeks for delivery it has now been nearly 5 weeks and I still haven t received it And when I contact them all they say is they ll chase it up with the supplier and then I don t hear anything DISGRACEFUL

Poor Customer Service
I purchased from Manage at Home a Mangar Bathing Cushion lift for my wife who is arthritic Regrettably she found the cushion most unstable rocking from side to side as it deflated into the bath and she slid off it twice on inflating it as it inflates from the back and tips the occupant forward I reported this to Manage at Home as a design fault who quoted the manufacturer s get out clause and incredibly said that they could not issue a refund as it had been used Not the kind of customer service that would encourage you to purchase anything from Manage at Home especially as had I purchased the cushion through Amazon I suspect they would not have quibbled about a refund

Poor Customer Service DONT BUY FROM THEM TOTAL SCAM
Poor Customer Service I purchased from Manage at Home a Mangar a perchasing stool for myself being disabled the stool stated it was for person up to 26 stone in weight also that they delivery between 3 to 7 days this was a joke What i got today 22 09 22 was a stool not fit for person only for child and not 26 stone in weight this was rushed out to me after make 5th complaint to them which they only responed to because I informed them i would be taking legal action against the company and compensation So the rush out this unfit stool marked on invoice dat sent to me on 19 09 22 when I phone them over this matter that its not fit for purpose and that you wanted to charge myself after waiting 5 weeks for this a fee to take this back of 25 pound I lost my temper i told them i would be taking legal action i was told wait for phone call 1 hour later they phone to say they would not charge for taking this back but they said nothing at all about returning my money or compensation I have already reported this matter to trading standards as this company is TOTAL SCAM

Avoid this company like the plague After buying a shower seat that was too
After buying a shower seat that was too big I got ok to return it It cost 15 to send back with parcelforce next day delivery A week later still no refund Emailed they asked for proof of delivery I sent receipt post office gave me not proof of delivery only postage went into postoffice who were very helpful and got tracking number confirming it had been delivered and sent tracking number to Manageathome Now they want photo or signature as they can t locate it It s as if they don t want to send refund and making it as hard as possible for me Wish I had read reviews before buying as there are quite a few bad reviews Shocking company to deal with A lot of hassle for a return Will never use again or recommend in fact I would recommend you tried somewhere else Have now contacted Parcelforce to see if they can help Still no refund to date will update with more news when I hear anything

Bullying The Disabled
My Mum ordered a pair of walking sticks from this retailer when the sticks were delivered there were incredibly badly scratched the furrels had black marks on them they quite frankly looked used Furthermore the quality What quality this were the cheapest crappiest pair of walking sticks you could imagine My Mum used them once to walk from the living room to the bathroom on carpeted floor s and the handles were bending My Mum made a complaint via email and sent the sticks back the following day A few day s later she received a phone call from a lady working for this disgraceful and disgusting retailer the lady claimed that the sticks were in an unsaleable condition they were used Exactly my thought s when we received the sticks in the post My Mum pointed out to the lady that this was the condition they were in when we received them to which the lady on the phone got really nasty and started calling my Mum a liar My Mum s sick she s disabled she doesn t need to be spoken to like this my Mum was almost reduced to tears by the nasty bullying and name calling of your disgusting employee Seeing my Mum in so much distress I took the phone and started to deal with this lady myself I pointed out that they got the sticks back in exactly the same condition that we received them in fact we took more effort to get the sticks back to them in good condition then what they took when they shipped them out The sticks were delivered with two grey plastic bags wrapped around them no padding or protection whatsoever I then pointed out that my Mum s housebound she uses the sticks to get from the living room to the bathroom and back again on carpeted floors The response was well I don t believe you Once again insulting and calling your customer s liar s Despite the best efforts of this nasty little bully I kept calm which was not easy considering the state that my Mum had been left in I pointed out that if this is how they want to proceed with this then that s fine I ll request a letter of deadlock from themselves they then have 14 days to respond if they don t then I ll proceed with a case against them through the ombudsman service s This nasty little bully then tried to claim that the walking sticks weren t for my Mum they were for me that s why they look like they ve been used I ve never heard anything so utterly pathetic in all my life I m not disabled and I don t need walking sticks I once again pointed out that I was not gonna be bullied or called a liar and reiterated the letter of deadlock To which the nasty little bully replied with on this occasion we ll issue a refund but we don t believe you I replied with no you ll issue the refund because if you don t then we ll request deadlock and proceed with a case through the ombudsman services against you The phone call ended with we ll issue a refund Will that refund actually be issued I wouldn t hold my breath I don t think I ve ever had such an encounter with such a vulgar narcissistic bully who s supposedly representing a legitimate business Furthermore according to their own employee they re selling used goods but passing them off as new and then calling their customer s liar s when they try to return the item s trying to defraud their customer s by claiming they won t issue a refund because the item s that have been returned are used You only have to look at the sheer number of negative reviews here to get a good understanding of what a thoroughly nasty questionable retailer this is There are far better retailer s out there selling quality equipment for disabled people but this company certainly isn t one of them What they sell is cheap rubbish and the attempt to defraud their customers isn t just disturbing but downright illegal and that s before you get to the whole bait and switch issue which is highly illegal under UK retail law Remember this retailer confirmed themselves these sticks are used and not new but they re selling them as new This is a bait and switch Somebody really needs to look into the unethical practices of this retailer Update Refund was issued as confirmed by PayPal

Really disappointing customer service
Really disappointing customer service Purchased a set of crutches in the sale on their website A different set arrived which they initially told me they we re going to exchanged but this was then refused I was told I d have to pay more money to have the crutches I had purchased over double the amount in fact They claimed they had been incorrectly listed in the sale and I would have to pay the difference to get an exchange or I could return for a refund This was a mistake on their part the crutches were in stock and were still listed on the website with the same details etc The website terms and conditions even state Our acceptance of and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of each product in your order A dispatch confirmation completed invoice email will be sent to you at this point Really poor customer service Sadly I wasn t able to take this further at the time due to my health but now seeing the other reviews wish I had been able too

Bad service - took 24 hours to tell me item not available
Ordered a rollator for 95 83 and 24 hours later they said that the item I ordered was no longer available but could have one in a different colour for 140 83 Don t know why a change in colour could cost an extra 45

Chair was great but shame about the delivery
I ordered a chair for my Dad and the actual chair is great However after ordering I didn t receive any emails or texts and had no idea about the delivery date The chair was delivered with no warning whilst I was at work and my Dad was out shopping My Dad arrived home to find a huge heavy box with a pallet blocking his path to the front door I was in meetings so he couldn t get hold of me and he started panicking and trying to see if neighbours could help because he couldn t move the box himself as it was so large and heavy I ve no idea what to do with the pallet I emailed about it and company just said We ll let the supplier know you re unhappy Wouldn t recommend

Bought a mattress for a electric bed
Bought a mattress for a electric bed it looked the business watched the video and looked like what we wanted turns out very poor no support to calfs and heels ended up with sores back of legs as no support the tubes never inflate for support Nothing like the video I sent in photos of lower legs and feet in a dip heels on base firm says that s how it is says it looks ok After waiting for replies Im now out of the returns time limit Poor service Poor product 557 00 Ok so decided to get rid of the mattress took cover off to dismantle it couldn t sell and charity shops didn t want it looking at the tubes I found a VALVE had been installed wrong way round hence no air flow emailed seller and not heard anything back my request for who makes the mattress has fallen on deaf ears very poor service
