Genuinely the worst company - avoid

Genuinely the worst company I have ever dealt with Happy to take your money in the U K but offer no customer service whatsoever None of the UK based numbers work or receive responses The USA based U K help line detailed on the website is only open in line with US times and takes 30 minutes to get through to just to tell you that they can t help U K customers and advise you to call the EU helpline No response to emails online support form or messenger I m left with a malfunctioning 300 safe that I can t access essential paperwork for my father s funeral arrangements and am needing to call out a locksmith at the cost of 235 during a pandemic Please think very carefully before purchasing from master lock in the U K

Terrible post sales service

I have been trying to get a spare part for a security product supplied by this company There is no email contact but an online form to which the don t respond There is a contact page with a UK phone number for premises in Stansted Essex but it s on answering service and they don t ring back Bad news

Be aware of the combination Master Lock

Purchased the round combination lock about a year ago for my tool cabinet A few days ago I tried 4X s to open the lock it would not open I trusted this lock because it s been around for centuries I have extremely important Tools in this cabinet and I had no idea what to do This lock is not to be trusted and it is not reliable I read the reviews on all their combination locks and they had absolutely no good reviews I now have no idea how to get into this cabinet

No customer experience whatsoever

No customer experience whatsoever Their padlocks are sold with a warranty which is totally meaningless because the only way to make contact with them is via their online web form - I have done that 3 times over 3 weeks uploading photos and including serial numbers as requested and no one has contacted me I telephoned their UK head office and there s no answer Don t buy Master locks - buy Squires - they are really nice and helpful and immediately replaced a faulty padlock when I had to contact them

Horrible

Horrible Not even a month old and two of the number wheels are jammed Spoke with Master lock customer service line They confirmed they can offer no support Luckily this happened in the open position otherwise we would have waisted more then just the cost of the lock having to have a lock smith come out It was a waist of 50 with the lock breaking less then 4weeks old

I so wish I d read these reviews My experience has been exactly the same as everyone else After one year the so-called external weatherproofed key lock rusted up and it s now UselessWorse than that It seems like they ve got one person in Customer service in the UK and no one else and they can t do anything they can t even organise a return They then forward you to someone in France who then pretty much refused everything and doesn t Engage or even understand which product you re dealing with This is a God awful company and clearly the number of bad reviews on this website that they haven t even responded to tells you everything I m gonna copy this review to Amazon and try and stop other people from wasting money on a company whose promises of whether proofing and lifetime warranties are absolutely meaningless What a truly awful company what a truly awful set of products what truly awful Customer Services
