Another greedy company willing to take money with terrible customer service
I ordered two rather expensive toys from this company on December 3rd They accepted the order and charged my credit card Six days later I still hadn t received a shipping confirmation so I emailed them to ask if they were actually going to ship I received an auto-response from them saying someone would get back to me in 5 TO 8 BUSINESS DAYS They also added As the busy holiday season approaches we are ramping up our systems to serve you better As a result we are currently experiencing some fulfillment delays which may affect the processing and delivery timeline of orders The time to tell customers that the likelihood of them actually receiving what they ordered in a timely manner would be before the order is accepted and money taken Clearly customer service isn t important to this company As well you should be aware that once an order is placed online it is virtually impossible to cancel -- or if it is possible it is extremely well hidden on their website

Impossible to reach
I ordered 3 of the Coco Village Learning Towers - which to my understanding is a company owned by Mastermind Toys One set can missing parts I tried calling Coco Village - but they directed me to Mastermind Toys I sent an email requesting the pieces be sent - no reply I called multiple times no answer and voicemail is full I have no idea how else to reach someone to address the issue but I am unimpressed at their lack or responsiveness and seeming indifference in even staffing a support line

Mastermind Toys takes orders charges payment but never ships
Mar 8 Update My order from Mastermind Toys arrived It s too bad I already cancelled and refunded the order a week ago Now I need to start a return process with them after they failed to deliver in a timely manner It took Mastermind Toys 21 days to delivery a package from Toronto to Innisfil 1 5hr drive Feb 27 Update My order still hasn t arrived Customer Support finally responded to resolve my case within 10 minutes after I sent another email creating a new ticket referencing my order number and intent to file a complaint against the original Customer Support Rep for stalling time Refund is also being processed Do not buy from Mastermind Toys There s a clear reason why they almost went into bankruptcy in 2023 They claim a package has been sent and then they don t respond to support emails after 5 days and then after initially responding they stall as much time as possible Perhaps they stall time for days in hopes the package will arrive Whatever the case their tactics are suspicious Original Post I made a purchase order from Mastermind Toys on Feb 12 2025 two weeks later I received zero updates No shipping at all I sent an email to support but zero responses and my credit card was charged right away This company is simply taking customers money and not shipping anything

Bad customer support
Even though their shops are nice however their call center is the worst It takes them weeks to respond if they ever do It comes after several reminders and follow ups for them to respond that the customer would even miss any deadline the shop might have set They don t even get back to you within the 3-5 business days as communicated in the auto reply message It happens that my kids birthdays are too close 3 birthdays within two weeks By the time the customer support got back to me to create my account I had missed the first two birthdays Then by the time I got to the third birthday I haven t even got a reply yet despite the different follow ups Having birthday perks is only a scam To note that it s not the gift that the kids are after rather the idea of getting a gift from the shop on their birthday is what they find it nice and exciting Yet none of this happened Too sad and very disappointing
