Groupon Vouchers
I visited The Turnpike and while ordering I informed my server that I had pre purchased x 3 Groupon vouchers 18 each for x2 selected starters and selected sizzlers on each voucher I then went on to place my order Then the problem s started neither the server or duty manager knew how to process Groupon vouchers It was suggested I returned to my seat while they worked it out or seeked advice Eventually my server said she had worked it out Yay the first voucher scanned OK then came the problem s the other 2 vouchers purchased that very morning failed and kept failing The system was saying they were either blocked or had already been used The server insisted it was Groupons fault and nothing to do with Mitchells Butlers So I agreed to pay the full price of 69 95 of which I have the receipt I have spoken at some length with Groupon and they assure me the 2 out of the 3 vouchers are still valid I have copies of all transactions and conversations in text If this matter can not be resolved I will have to seek further advice else where

Dont Bother With Gift Vouchers
Got some vouchers to use but for personal reasons I have not been able to use them They expire very soon so will be totally wasted Other companies have offered an extension but not this lot of cowboys Take the money and CYA thanks a lot

I worked for this company until they advertised my job for more than what they were paying me at the time So many jobs from this company posted on to indeed maybe if you paid your staff correctly and stop being a shady business you might actually be able to keep staff The area manager for my establishment was a moron there was a lot of moving about within the company when I started red flags everywhere All about the shareholders qt the end of the day just another soulless business out to claw as much money as they can and if that means underpaying staff then that s what is going to happen

The Farmers ArmsStonehouseSeated at a greasy table with grease all over menus Got wrong order with sour cream missing from my nachos and the waitress rather than taking and dish back and mending it brought me sour cream in a plastic pot Fuming I finished my drink left the food untouched and left loosing money but will NEVER ever go to any of their places again It s not a first time on two other occasions they forgot completely about my food and other people in party go theirs and other time I was waiting for food so long that I took my money and simply left

company run by rude amateurs
This company seems to be staffed by teenagers I emailed them about abusive replies a manager had put on tripadvisor the area manager didn t reply I then had an email from another customer service JOKE manager saying my emails would not be answered the area manager had complained I was putting pressure on them to sack the manager Another member of staff lied and said I had been rude a total lie and CCTV proved it the staff lie because they know area managers are weak Staff are abusive to customers seem to think they can lie and be rude and it won t matter just part-timers who know they will be working somewhere else next year and don t care if pub goes out of business Disgustingly rude the whole company is a joke Food crap anyway just rude ignorant abusive staff at every level

Fraudulent activity
Recently stayed at a hotel in Maidestone and upon check in I verified my debit card at reception Within an hour this company tried to take 29 99 from my card with recurring debits Thankfully my bank contacted me and blocked the transactions They have been reported for fraud

bad practice
The company does not allow wasteage so managers rarely clean the beer lines This results in awful tasting beer at premium prices The food is generally the same for all brands so you could be eating the same food in a miller and carter as a sizling but paying double for it Staff are treated poorly Payroll don t even work on payday and demand your employee number and place of work before they even talk to you This is so that when they provoke you into getting angry about not being paid properly they can ensure you get what s coming to you All in all bad company with bad practices If you want to go to the pub for drinks or a meal go to your local indipendant You may pay slightly more but you ll get what you pay for

Hackers scammed my debit card
Used this company to order drinks in a London famous pub - The Horniman At Hays - using the QR code at the table In some way a scam company called Tursaki com started charging me money throughout the following week increasing the amount each time Luckily I realised this and was able to block and cancel my card My bank was able to link the scam to this transaction because the first charge from the scam company came out 2 minutes after I ordered my drinks there Of course this costed me money and a lot of time Shame that in some way these hackers found a method to hack the QR payment system at this place Be careful

Could not book a table
Wanted to book a table at lunch time for a party of 10 A visit was made to try and do this but was told by the member of staff that this could only be done by the manager and he would ring us back He did not do this Contact was made again but still was unable to get a reply This is the second time of trying to book a meal at this establishment without success and have had to book at another restaurant in the area
