I ve just had a emergency repair by MEARS The electrician was absolute brilliant even in these difficult times he thoroughly checked everything twice over and done the repairs Also from the time I rang my Housing Association to the job being completed was roughly under 3 hours which was great

happy with MEARS service they always on time professional they quick on emergency calls in last two weeks I had 3 MEARS visits they been all excellent 1st was EMERGENCY CALL late evening time due to low boiler pressure the guy came quick sort it checked everything booked few maintenance jobs and attended for it on 07 12 20 job was quick he was friendly and answered loads of questions how heating works had a lot of them advice me how to use my thermostat aswell because I was keeping water on too low temperature he explained that bacteria can grow in water tank and set up higher temp polite fast friendly sadly I dont know his name but work was done by mears for cross keys homes in orton goldhay stagsden another person came on 4th to change my fire allar Benjamin did it quick checked upstairs one gave me instruction it took 5 minutes came aswell on time Those was my last jobs I had loads jobs before they all been good apart one as well heating guy met him 3 times he s so arrogant tottaly not like all others He checked how his hear look in my mirror D was talking to me like Im stupid and there isn t any need to answer anything but anyway from numerous times and jobs he was the only one like that but I can t say anything bad about his job quality it was good just his personality I had one man to come to change hinges in kitchen under sink cupboard and he was nice as well he sorted my broken draw and aligned my all kitchen cupboard doors and the job was only hinges

Some decent workman
So over the last few days we had a few people out from mears not all of them were at an excellent standard I must say Mears customer service are useless when it comes to telling their staff what they are meant be doing when they come out However today we had 2 lovely men Mark E and Mark D will not give last names for confidentiality reasons who done an excellent job putting our units back in after they had to be taken out due to a leak With the way the units were fitted in 2013 utter disgrace the job took way longer than necessary but they was happy didn t moan went and got all the extra bits they needed and done the job properly Thank you guys

I had to give a star DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY States is diability friendly they are not They do not care about the service users they get paid to care for Will stab employees in the back to protect their contracts Service users live in properties that some are not fit for purpose and will cover this up by only showing the client select properties Expect staff to cover up their incompetances and will blame staff that have had little or no training to get themselves off the hook Diabolical company

I had a really bad experience with
I had a really bad experience with their service They texted me saying they would come but nobody showed up I rushed home leaving everything behind and ended up waiting for them without any communication It s frustrating that there s no contact number to reach out for help They also fined me and sent a link that doesn t work Overall I m very disappointed and would not recommend their service I have attached their text messages down below Your Mears Operative Alexander is on their way to attend your appointment and should arrive within the next 00 20 minutes it s not letting me to attach the link This is the message

Extremely rude lady with zero people skills definitely needs to be taught how to communicate with customers
I think I ve just spoken to the rudest female representing the Mears group Said my windows were going to be replaced and they were coming out on the 7th of January I said isn t that to measure up or replace the windows she proceeds to say in a loud voice you ll get a letter I repeated is that to measure up for new windows or are you replacing them she booms out you ll get a letter in the post The workmen have always been so polite and helpful I have no complaints at all however maybe the female who rings customers should go back to school or at least basics on how to interact with people zero people skills extremely angry rude lady South Cambridge branch

Got a message today I m very tired of this that they had called at the agreed time for the third time after I d made a complaint to inspect the out house roof Firstly the complaint was that they said morning before 11 am they came when I was out in the afternoon secondly they have done it again three times I won t answer the phone when they ring or answer letters because that is what they want what I want is for rhe council to admit that they couldn t arange a simple appointment and keep it so I repeated the complaint to the council only I said who is paying for petrol And don t mears get paid to turn up and take a picture of the door So I did the maths the council charges rate payers for three trips three jobs and still nothing done On the phone mears woman i call her said roof inspectors don t work week ends so I booked before 11 am in the week they came at 11 35 am I d gone but got the text so they have posted cards came to inspect your roof in the week All after 11am so council just passed the buck to mears which is crazy because it s meats that is doing it don t mention afternoon they would probably come in the morning
