Rude and Racist staff Good lord where do I start Despite ticking all the foreigner boxes doing our best to speak spanish smiling and being polite we are always met with nothing but absolute rudeness and hostility My husband who is of Caribbean origin gets the brunt absolutely disgusting treatment and yes miserable checkout lady we can understand you when you mutter racist insults in Spanish The customer service if you can call it that is aggressive rude and the checkout staff seemed to have been trained to be so Unfortunately this is our nearest store in Seville and during lockdown became our only choice Everytime we guarantee we will be followed around by the security guard who thinks he s a marine commando We make jokes before we go in as to exactly how we will be treated and everytime brings a fresh new insult Thank god we can now travel further afield to much more civilised stores I wouldnt let my worst enemy shop in this disgrace

AVOID THIS DISGRACEFUL SUPERMARKET there are plenty of alternatives like Manper and Consum to go to The Torrevieja branch is filthy and the staff act like the police force of supermarkets Not only do they have a massive security guard all over you which you would not only meet guarding prisoners they have rude cashiers who order you which way they want you to put your trolley at the cash till and now even how to wear your mask as well

Still rude on trolley policy in Mercadona Seville even if there are nobody around beacuse is closing time still telling you how to unload your shopping is like a communist supermarket here how about an instruction in spanish words how to position the trolley and how to unload your shopping their way cashiers are rude there are other supermarkets with more cheaper prices

Horrible staff

Horrible staff No compassion when dealing with elderly customers like me who are a bit slow Literally yell at you if your trolley isn t in the right position facing backwards at the checkout One time the cashier wants you to rush before the-person on front has finished the next time they will shout at you if you attempt to put shopping on the conveyor Hate them for their horrible staff at the cajas

Woeful customer care in this Supermarket in Bel Air Mrs F handbag was stolen in the shop The staff couldn not care less No help or assistance offered or given Told it was basically her own fault Checkout very slow Rarely enough tills open Staff only seem to want to tell what to do or not to do There is a branch of Mercadina in Benahavis which is much better
