If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would Never get this card They will take forever to process your payment and charge you a late fee when it s their fault and then proceed to argue with you over the phone Never had worse customer service over the phone and never had to deal with a card this bad

A terrible card
I had a Mercury credit card for several months Today March 25 I received a letter that said that the card was canceled due to inactivity I have several other credit cards and was keeping this one open for emergencies Imagine my shock when I saw that the card had been canceled All of my other payments are on time and I never had a payment due since I had not used the card This will most likely have a negative impact on my credit score Obviously I would not recommend this card to anyone

Stay away from Mercury cards
I would advise everyone to stay away from this company called Mercury I got a pre approved offer for 4k applied and got approved but they did not send me the card for a month and started charging me monthly fees I tried updating my address to no avail they kept on lying about sending the card to my previous address which I tried to change the day I applied but the app nor their reps would let me change the address until a later date I called in three times and finally got hold of the supervisor who did not even respond well provided her fake name and refused to acknowledge that I had called in three times earlier to try to change my address She was so rude and had no customer service skills I received all mail from my previous address except theirs which is so funny Also she advised that it s going to take another 10 business days from the date I advise her again of the address change I cancelled my card and would advise please stay away from Mercury I wish I could give them 0 stars

Ignorance
Calling customer service is a joke They claim they can t transfer me to someone in America They don t speak good English and will lie to you all the time Stay away from this company They are rude and flat out stupid because they don t understand simple questions I m paying off my balance and will close this account as fast as I can Ignorant foreigners Shame on this entire company

Unscrupulous service
I had this card for several years and quite honestly applied for it to improve my credit I recently paid off the entire balance on the account and was charged several unscrupulous fees on a zero balance I called to dispute the charges and they did not care one iota about the facts They did not budge to waive the fees and when I threatened to close the account they basically said Fine I read negative reviews about Mercury before but just passed it off as disgruntled customers Now I am on the receiving end of Mercury s crap

I transferred my balance to a no
I transferred my balance to a no interest card They will not update my balance with Transunion or Equifax even though I have a 0 balance Hence my credit score is suffering because it shows I owe 2000 plus dollars more than I really do Can t get a major purchase at a good rate cause it reads a fair score when I am at a very good I called customer service Was lied to My score was not updated I am disputing Do not recommend

Unable to Request Services Online Wasting Time
I am unable to order a replacement card on their website wasting time They indicate I need to call up their customer service number and I have a cold and am unable to speak easily In this day and age something like this should be something that should be able to be done on the website Most other cards have a more convenient website If you prefer using the phone to contact your credit card company they are fine If you really prefer to do things online I would suggest using another credit card company

this is the worst credit card company I have worked with and little I knew about them they have one of the highest interest rate and worst services and their fees are ridiculous they charge fee for breathing I regret I got the card and DO NOT RECOMMEND it for anyone even though your credit is not good

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER Constantly reported a bankruptcy to my credit in error Like how can you make such an error Hurt my score over 30pts Got it resolved they gave my an increase and the reported bankruptcy again and closed the card beyond frustrated
